Jersey cops are amongst the most corrupt in the nation. I have a friend who was in law enforcement in Jersey and he told me how his cop friends would routinely break into unclaimed/impounded/etc shipping containers at the port and steal hundreds of VCRs, TVs, CD players, etc, and then sell them for 20 cents on the dollar. He also told me it is fairly common for officers to take money from dealers in exchange for letting them go. He said that such actions are the NORM rather than the exception.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with her stands, however no law was violated by the officer. She was impeding with arrest/detention/stop and deserved to be arrested. Secondly in order to be arrested one must have committed a crime (they did not) and to be detained you must be in suspicion of a crime (which they were not). If he doesn't make clear that he is, do not follow any of the officer's orders, you can and should ignore him and walk away.

The US Supreme Court has upheld multiple times that if you are in the public arena (a public street) you have no reasonable expectation of privacy and can therefore be recorded on video, In the US it is your right to record video, freedom of press.
