The only US release I know of that has the head falling to the floor is Deadly Silence on the DS. I have the NA Saturn Version but it's basically the same thing, except for the 2 tyrants and merc mode. What version had the intro song where it starts off by saying, "I've got a shotgun..." It's pretty funny.

I am going to answer a few questions I see here.

Biohazard is the original name for the game when created in Japan, Resident Evil was the NTSC name for the game and they both still hold separate names.

This game did look much better on the Saturn, I own both copies and it is very apparent.

I believe personally the only good games worth the name in this series are Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil: Zero. The rest felt a bit off and I hate 4 & 5, terrible....

@Bdizz2012 The name of the genre is "Survival horror", where is the horror in 4 & 5? The games went from being terrifying not knowing what was around the next corner to an action packed 3rd person shooter with crazed villagers, where are the zombies? Hunters? Tyrants? Dogs? and everything else that made Resident Evil what it is? I am not only disappointed in Capcom creating those 2 games but for the Resident Evil community actual accepting them. Resident Evil died after Code Veronica.

@NextGenesis88 Biohazard is the Non American version of Resident evil. They had to change the name of the game to Resident evil when it was brought to America cause copyrights for Biohazard were in America already.

The best game ever to be released on the Saturn. Just an example of how powerful this machine was and what it was able to do with the right people developing games for it that actually knew how to make use of its hardware. I curse Bernie Stollar till this day for pulling the plug on it prematurely.

Why did it change its name to resident evil. I still play this on my sega saturn and ps3, loved it when it first came out and still do, altho i prefer the remakes on gamecube. I also have res evil 5, which is a bit of a let down, as its more zombi survival, than survival horror.
