I have worked at some of the largest farms in the country and rest asure nothing of this nature had ever happened. The pigs are well fed and looked after. This video is wrong but not the norm.

My personal choice is to not eat animals, and to gently coax as many people as I can for the rest of my life. I'd prefer to see farmers farming fruits and veggies. It sounds like you are more caring than most but, still....the Earth needs vegetarians, as meat eating takes a superb toll on our environment. We only have this one suffering planet.

I agree that the guys in this video need to be hurt, prosecuted, and whatever else. But don't think that every barn is run in this manner, because its not. this barn was run by a bad manager. my manager, however, is very good at what he does and pays close attention to how the animals are treated. if they're treated badly, the person is fired. That's how many barns actually work. Believe it or not.

Pigs are obviously better off outside, they play, root around in the soil, take mud baths ,have family bonds and are pigs ,not living dead in factory farms. No one even NEEDS to eat animals.

no they're not better outside. bigger risk of disease, injury, and temperature problems. Bio-security is a huge thing in barns. We go through strict protocalls to make sure that no disease is carried into the barns. They don't get injured nearly as often in a barn, although it does still happen. And the temperture in barns is always kept constant and under close watch. As a person that knows something about pigs, temperature is a huge issue in they're survival.

Your trouble is you think of pigs as food and not living feeling beings. Pigs are more intelligent than dogs, can work computers(yes), go walks with dogs, be house trained, play and learn obedience just like dogs.

There are hundreds of thousands of pigs in the wild or on organic farms, the last thing they would choose is a life of imprisonment in a factory farm. Nobody NEEDS to eat animals.

Most farm animals are treated very ethically and being a factory farm has no effect on how their animals are treated. It is completely the owner. Quit putting a bad face on animal agriculture.
