  • song sounded like tiny toon adventures. lol.

  • Yep i agree - this was technically the top of the C64's game.

  • I feel like sutch an idiot, i never knew you could go down the thing that looks like a yellow sandy waterfall, it never dwned on me even once. Sometimes i played this for hours going from one end of the level to the oher, not getting anywhere and wondering "well just what the hell am i supposed to do?"

  • HD? Why? Commodore=64 specs (160x240) are no higher than a fuzzy VHS tape (~320x480)

    .

There's really no point putting it in HD, unless ypu're trying to eliminate compression artifacts (macroblocking, mosquitos, etc)

    .

  • Dude C64 is true HD, you need to enter a secret poke command after attaching a Flux Capacitor to the cartridge slot, it's future proofed.

  • @ToricoUK Flux Capacitor you can order from Vesalia Computer. it's called Chameleon 64. google it ;)

  • @harleykman

There's really no point in commenting that HD is pointless for this vid when we can all see the difference by clicking on 360p then 720p

maybe some people are just blinded by their ignorance

  • @P5BDeluxeWiFi The only thing "HD" does here is get rid of all the compression artifacts, so in the real sense of the word "HD" it /is/ pointless, and that's what people are pointing out. It's sad that YouTube mangles "non-HD" videos so badly...

  • @Lumpio2

Yes ,I understand that ,But by using the word pointless their logic is demonstrably flawed which is what I'm pointing out.

  • @harleykman It has higher specs than that actually, but one reason is that YouTube compresses the hell out of anything that is less than 720p, so by scaling up low resolution material and uploading as 720p you get a sharp video with all details preserved.

  • when this game came out the c64 was already ten years old. this one really pushed the envelope.

  • @senorverde09 true, it's like when consoles reach the full potential at the end of their lifespan.

  • Parralax Scrolling!

  • The C64 was always in Full HD, there was just the fact that there was nothing available at the time that could show it.

  • 5/5 for the HD making me ROTFL The main menu tune reminds me of Looney Tunes XD Why is this HD? C64 was like 320x200 XD Anyway Creatures 1 and 2 and Mayhem looked awesome and still do. I would LOVE to play those on a portable :/

  • c64 goes hd, the capabilities of this machine is endless!!

  • awesome :) thanks for sharing, best looking c64 game ever

  • I just love the fact that this video is in HD.

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • Awesome game.

  • Wow, this looks good for being C64 :) Could've been a bit catchier music while playing though.

  • the dark version has that tunes, the happy version of the levels has catchy music
