I was also curious why the rider didn't match his ground to hitch / ball height with the trailer and bike? In the video there is quite a noticeable angle or slant to the trailer when it is attached to the bike. Does this cause any issues with uneven tire wear, road handling or maneuverability?
For those who've not traveled in Canada, the rider doesn't clarify / represent well the highway conditions throughout our vast country (Canada). I have traveled from Mexico to Alaska, west coast to east coast, for the most part in Canada; in my opinion, our Canadian highways are likely the best in the world, given our cold climate, perma-frost further north, frost heaves created by a harsh winter each year - we maintain our paved highways likely better than any other country in the world.
@cmgowler1 I don't think he meant anything personally by that. We love you guys. I'm sure there were plenty of miles of Alaskan roads that were just as rough, but it didn't come out in the conversation.
@ezwryder Right, I didnt take it personally at all - just wanted to give a balanced view of what our Canadian roads are like, for the most part. I think its a pretty amazing thing to be able to drive or ride on high grade, well-maintained highways all the way from the Alberta/Montana border right to Dawson CIty, Yukon Territory, a distance easily in excess of 3500 kms - thats a long way! Hey, why don't you put 12 or 13 inch wheels on your trailers? I like your product.
@cmgowler1 - I'm a dealer so although I give input on the designs, I don't do the engineering or manufacturing. Actually the Time Out line of campers that I sell now offers a 12" wheel.
Hi Pigryder - I've had no issues with water in the camper whether it is stowed or set up. The hard top completely overhangs the body. Even when it is set up I've sprayed water at it directly to clean it and it remains dry. Feel free to contact me when you're ready to put one behind your Wing!
Love the mini mate! I'm thinking I need one of these behind my GL1800. I really like the size of the mini versus the Time Out, have you had any issues with water leaking into yh

@cmgowler1 - good question. It is at this angle only when the suspension is unloaded. when the rider sits on the bike, it levels out.
