I took mushrooms one time and had a full blown bad trip. I remeber taking them and about an hour later, I started to black out. When I came to, I was in the bathroom floor and was eating handfuls of my own shit. I just could not believe I was doing that. @MrSoggySocks I would recommend novices should start with about 2 dried grams (or if fresh 20 wet grams) of shrooms. Then you can work your way up....above 3-7 grams for the higher dose experiences. 3-7 grams (average being 5 grams) is enough for most people, although if you feel as if you are resistant to these sort of things then 10 dried grams would be the highest I would go, but that's overkill for most people.
@MrSoggySocks Do not use acid like weed. Using psychedelics for vice is a bad idea. And weed is only a mild psychedelic, it's also a painkiller, stimulant, and such. Acid, especially when compared to other psychedelics, can be a very psychological experience. In fact it's quite abrasively psychoanalytical, especially if you use it for the wrong reasons.
Shrooms on the other hand can be far more gentle and forgiving, and I would suggest them before trying acid, but treat shrooms with care too.
@MrSoggySocks Well it really depends on how many doors an individual already has open. However I think most people benefit the most from certain personal experiences (no one born buddah) that they can't get otherwise on their own.
In other words, if you use something like acid in a responsible, non-abusive way, it can open many more doors that you never knew existed. On the other hand, if you use acid to just "get wasted" you can end up freaking yourself out of ever opening anymore doors.
@MrSoggySocks Words are partly conditioning, and in an increasingly un-conditioned mind words can make less sense and even seem ridiculous. Weed is quite a bit different than classical psychedelics btw, albeit sharing a few similarities. Indica vs Sativa makes a big difference too.
Everyone reacts differently to different substances and situations, and a lot of it is based off their personal beliefs, unconscious, what they think a substance or situation can do for them, and so on.
LSD is more related to our own being and the world that we're accustomed to, on the other hand, DMT deals with none of that, there is no rise to a climax, its instantaneously overpowering, the hardest thing of the trip is trying to explain it because nothing in our world exists that you can even begin to imagine that rivals anything remotely close to "it". The firs time I did psilocybin mushrooms, I had no idea about them, other than you eat some and trip. I didnt know anything about thier mayan background or any of thier background concerning that culture using them. What I found astonishing was, I closed my eyes and began to see mayan art. Later I found out by seeing it on t.v. exactly what I was seeing. The mayan calender, I saw it before it was even brought to public attention in a vision on mushrooms.

Oh, is he really? Psilocybin has been consumed since basically the beggining of time. It is almost identical to seritonin, a naturally occuring chemical in your brain. Along with DMT, which occurs in your brain.
Got arressted while full up tripping, I'll never forget the feeling of dread and worrying, istening to my girlfriend cry out to be together, When I finally talked them into letting me see her, we just laughed when we seen eachother, all fear disappeared, when we finally were picked up by my mother (we were under 18) when we got home, looked into my bedroom, seen a pile of clothes on the floor it just let me know none of what happened really mattered, the clothes were still there and didnt care.

When I tripped on LSD words didn't make sense to me. I didn't perceive pain. After my trip I didn't know why people looked like that. LSD changed my life initially by giving my fear and anxiety attacks because of the absurdity of life. 2 months after my trip I realized that fear doesn't exist and life is only absurd because we created the word absurd. @ravkes I got alot of anxiety attacks and fear in social settings, it's getting better now though. I'm don't know why I have them, but they did start coming along with weed and mushrooms. @mickehill .. Use these anxiety attacks as a source of spiritual growth. The more one suffers, and doesn't run away from the suffering but embraces it the more it dissolves and befriends you. If you wish to know more please look at my favorites. Waited as long as possible at the Hotel for him cuz we were gonna trip that night. I just decided to go with this bunch of high school kids I spent the day with. I debated taking the trip and on the subway on the way over there I decided to drop. This was only my 2nd trip ever, in a foreign country with people I don't even know aside from these two short days. I dropped the acid. The nerves started up and that "taste" of the paper and what not. No turning back now. I was nervous.
We arrived downtown and exited the train. They were asking me "do you feel it?" "No." I replied. But, they made me feel more comfortable. As we were making our way up the stairs to the surface it started. It was surreal. Going from a normal underground subway up to BRIGHT car headlights and street lights and building and people. I felt the rush of the body buzz radiate from my heart. The nervous system senses the electriciity in your own body which is that body buzz, I think.
Anyway, I was starting to intensify as far as tripping. I wondered to myself if I was gonna see mike because I brought trips for him along with me in case. So I'm standing outside one of the traffic circles with one of those "needle" sculptures in the center. And as I am wondering if I was gonna run into him. I look toward the center of the traffic circle and BOOM! There he is!! I was like WTF?! The chances are not that good to see him after being seperated all day. Couldn't believe it.
So I RUN out into the traffic circle toward mike cuz I'm so excited. Apparently there was a bit of traffic trying to get around the circle which halted abruptly honking their horns when I ran out to the middle. We agreed it was pretty insane that we would meet up like that. I told him I started tripping and he was surprised. I told him I brought some for him and offered. He refused!! LOL But, I think that he was afraid maybe like he didn't think he could handle ti. Or to fuck with me.
Well, I tripped by myself that night. We went everywhere I could tell you everything in pretty good detail from that night. And it was a LONG one. We missed the last train back, had to find busses back to around the hotel which was by an airport. Ended up on the far outside of the airport field. We were struggling to find our way and got off the bus and started walking. We ended up, at 4:30am, seeing some people in this little bar or restaurant or something. Man, you get the point. A TRIP

I took mushrooms one time and had a full blown bad trip. I remeber taking them and about an hour later, I started to black out. When I came to, I was in the bathroom floor and was eating handfuls of my own shit. I just could not believe I was doing that. I actually had both hands full of shit and when I came to, my mouth was full of it. It wasn't a dream, I was actually eating handfuls of my own shit.

In real life TM was a man who didn't want to stand under command. He was thinking free. Maybe that's why he didn't make special thoughts about it. He hated commands like many thinkers. @MrSoggySocks I would recommend novices should start with about 2 dried grams (or if fresh 20 wet grams) of shrooms. Then you can work your way up....above 3-7 grams for the higher dose experiences. 3-7 grams (average being 5 grams) is enough for most people, although if you feel as if you are resistant to these sort of things then 10 dried grams would be the highest I would go, but that's overkill for most people.

@MrSoggySocks Do not use acid like weed. Using psychedelics for vice is a bad idea. And weed is only a mild psychedelic, it's also a painkiller, stimulant, and such. Acid, especially when compared to other psychedelics, can be a very psychological experience. In fact it's quite abrasively psychoanalytical, especially if you use it for the wrong reasons.
Shrooms on the other hand can be far more gentle and forgiving, and I would suggest them before trying acid, but treat shrooms with care too.

@MrSoggySocks Well it really depends on how many doors an individual already has open. However I think most people benefit the most from certain personal experiences (no one born buddah) that they can't get otherwise on their own.
In other words, if you use something like acid in a responsible, non-abusive way, it can open many more doors that you never knew existed. On the other hand, if you use acid to just "get wasted" you can end up freaking yourself out of ever opening anymore doors.

@MrSoggySocks Words are partly conditioning, and in an increasingly un-conditioned mind words can make less sense and even seem ridiculous. Weed is quite a bit different than classical psychedelics btw, albeit sharing a few similarities. Indica vs Sativa makes a big difference too.
Everyone reacts differently to different substances and situations, and a lot of it is based off their personal beliefs, unconscious, what they think a substance or situation can do for them, and so on.

And the fact that these drugs work at all in out brain (which they don't do in almost any animal) suggests an important co-evolution (symbiosis) relationship with these plants. His message made a lot of people realize how the western world is filled with hypocrisy which is hard to see without drugs

The firs time I did psilocybin mushrooms, I had no idea about them, other than you eat some and trip. I didnt know anything about thier mayan background or any of thier background concerning that culture using them. What I found astonishing was, I closed my eyes and began to see mayan art. Later I found out by seeing it on t.v. exactly what I was seeing. The mayan calender, I saw it before it was even brought to public attention in a vision on mushrooms.

I've done 6 dried grams. It was truly a life changing experience. After reading True Hallucinations by Terence and his brother Dennis, I have gained even more respect for these gentleman. I only wish when i was 20-24 (their age at the time), and experienced what they went through while in the Amazon basin.
20 dried grams of shrooms sounds utterly impossible to me but they did it without question.
Maybe some day I'll gain the strength to try that myself.

Got arressted while full up tripping, I'll never forget the feeling of dread and worrying, istening to my girlfriend cry out to be together, When I finally talked them into letting me see her, we just laughed when we seen eachother, all fear disappeared, when we finally were picked up by my mother (we were under 18) when we got home, looked into my bedroom, seen a pile of clothes on the floor it just let me know none of what happened really mattered, the clothes were still there and didnt care.

We were in a group walking down the road, two police stopped us, one man one woman, the female copper started shouting at my girlfriend because she had the top of a vodka bottle in her pocket (wasnt drinking though) when she started doing the motions to arrest my girlfriend I stepped inbetween and ended up getting arrested aswell, all happened quiet fast, live and learn. To make matter worse I had a HighAgain top on (heineken) looked like the beer but wasnt. Anyway, thanks for the negative vibe.

When I tripped on LSD words didn't make sense to me. I didn't perceive pain. After my trip I didn't know why people looked like that. LSD changed my life initially by giving my fear and anxiety attacks because of the absurdity of life. 2 months after my trip I realized that fear doesn't exist and life is only absurd because we created the word absurd. Now that this "i" doesn't exist and fear doesn't exist. Pure peace has been obtained. Peace above logical dualism. thank you albert.

@ravkes I got alot of anxiety attacks and fear in social settings, it's getting better now though. I'm don't know why I have them, but they did start coming along with weed and mushrooms. Do u think it could be because of the absurdity of life around us ? I try n see lightly at things these days, n just dont care much. It feels better, but I still have it in the background. @mickehill .. Use these anxiety attacks as a source of spiritual growth. The more one suffers, and doesn't run away from the suffering but embraces it the more it dissolves and befriends you. If you wish to know more please look at my favorites. They can direct you on your spiritual journey, but ultimately it is up to you.. and remember, when you get these attacks they're just emotions - it will pass. It's basically attaching to a thought. We don't know what life is. How can we suffer? ;)

And anyone who wasn't raisted christian will eventually find Christ or some sort of diety as an explanation for these sensations. We all feel it, don't dwell on this one idea. Go with it, and create your own ideas to share with others.

when I got fubared on mushrooms I couldnt move at all and I thought that i was dieing because i lost all sence of reality-and i tryed to cry to my roomate to call the ambalance but I couldnt yell and it only came out a wisper and that really scated me so I had no where elso to turn so I tryed yelling for JESUS but it only came out a wisper but that was all that it took and I instantly WAS RESURRECTED ON TO MY FEET AND MY RIGHT PALM WAS LIFTED TOWARDS HEAVEN AND i WILL CONTINUE ON MY NEXT COMMENT

lsd gave me a flow of colors coming off of the corners of a tv, but that's it. almost like all four corners were overflowing colors, because the tv was filling up with something and pushing them out.

LOL The 2nd full hit of acid I ever did was while on a Bus Tour of Paris with a friend of mine. I ended up tripping by myself the 2nd night we were there and it was crazy. My friend went with the tour that day and stayed in Paris. I went back to the Hotel expecting him to come back. He never did

Waited as long as possible at the Hotel for him cuz we were gonna trip that night. I just decided to go with this bunch of high school kids I spent the day with. I debated taking the trip and on the subway on the way over there I decided to drop. This was only my 2nd trip ever, in a foreign country with people I don't even know aside from these two short days. I dropped the acid. The nerves started up and that "taste" of the paper and what not. No turning back now. I was nervous.

We arrived downtown and exited the train. They were asking me "do you feel it?" "No." I replied. But, they made me feel more comfortable. As we were making our way up the stairs to the surface it started. It was surreal. Going from a normal underground subway up to BRIGHT car headlights and street lights and building and people. I felt the rush of the body buzz radiate from my heart. The nervous system senses the electriciity in your own body which is that body buzz, I think.

Anyway, I was starting to intensify as far as tripping. I wondered to myself if I was gonna see mike because I brought trips for him along with me in case. So I'm standing outside one of the traffic circles with one of those "needle" sculptures in the center. And as I am wondering if I was gonna run into him. I look toward the center of the traffic circle and BOOM! There he is!! I was like WTF?! The chances are not that good to see him after being seperated all day. Couldn't believe it.

So I RUN out into the traffic circle toward mike cuz I'm so excited. Apparently there was a bit of traffic trying to get around the circle which halted abruptly honking their horns when I ran out to the middle. We agreed it was pretty insane that we would meet up like that. I told him I started tripping and he was surprised. I told him I brought some for him and offered. He refused!! LOL But, I think that he was afraid maybe like he didn't think he could handle ti. Or to fuck with me.

Well, I tripped by myself that night. We went everywhere I could tell you everything in pretty good detail from that night. And it was a LONG one. We missed the last train back, had to find busses back to around the hotel which was by an airport. Ended up on the far outside of the airport field. We were struggling to find our way and got off the bus and started walking. We ended up, at 4:30am, seeing some people in this little bar or restaurant or something. Man, you get the point. A TRIP

@2992isthatall You are not crazy my friend. I was called crazy too. I'm 47, ate my last psilo around 85 in my 20s... did them semiregularly, in season, over about a year... I experienced three... four... things I could not get out of my head until I found out what they were... and I'm still talking about it today... one was a completely hexagramic field of color patterns (EVERY time I did them), one was inhuman voice sounds I heard and tried to repeat, (nearly every time)...
