Hallo! my impreza was all nomal (no customized). but this model is STi RA limited vesion in Jp. so it had center diffrencial control system.

My impreza was special version in 4door STi, it only 555 cars made( only for Jp ).

This Jp special version name was RA-LTD STi Version5(TypeF model) in GC8. therefore, the top roof window is only for this special 4door RA-LTD.

A lot of Subaru people just call all the pre-2002 Imprezas a GC8.

And even though it's true that GC stands for 4door, it isn't true in every case. The 22b for instance has a model code that starts with GC8, and it's a 2 door.

GC8 4door 2.0L turbo

22B is a special version of the GC8 STI.

2.2L turbo and 2door. Subaru sad it is 280Hp, but for real, it is aprox. 340Hp!!!!

so a gc8 is a turbo sedan

you have a GM6, GM being the Coupe, 6 being the 2.5RS engine code.

a True GC8 is a four door 2.0 litre turbo.

the GF8 is the Four door wagon with the 2.0 litre turbo

GF = Wagon

GM = Coupe

GC = Sedan

My inpreza was RA-LTD it is special version with the center differential control system. Therefore, I could drive like a FR car.

I practiced the behavior of Impreza in a motokhana circuit. The runnning time was not a purpose. The gearbox of Impreza was known it was nervous... but The trouble was not in my gearbox.

sorry, I'am not understand to your question. Basically, there is no special license needing to drive Impreza in Japan.

This is KANETSU Sports Land. It is japanese gymkhana area one. Version is STi-5. Basically same performance between Ver,5 and Ver,6.
