Father John, I want to ask you why is IHS, an ancient diety of egypt, considered a sacred element in the jusuit order and as a form of their symbolic manifestation. Jesus Christ said that the scriptures are fullfilled.

IHS does NOT refer to "Isis, Horrus, Set" as some anti-Jesuit, anti-Catholics might have you believe. It is the first three letters of "Jesus" in greek.

@gadgettts what you mean greek, these encriptions are of egytian origin. If they were greek then they must have had been interpreted by someone right? If you mind me asking where in greece do these encrptions appear? on which ancient relic or monument. Thanks

They are Greek LETTERS. The Jesuits are known as the "Companeros de Jesus" - "IHS" are the first three letters of "JESUS" in Greek.

Don't take my word for it. Look it up. It's simple enough to confirm.

Let me make it as clear as possible...

My order is actually called "The Society of Jesus" (Jesuits was a name given to us) -- As such, our symbol uses the letters "IHS" which is a commonly-used abbreviation for the name of Christ.

In GREEK the first three letters of "Jesus" is "iota-eta-sigma" or IHE which translates into Latin script as "IHS"

There is no pagan symbolism, no illusion to foreign Gods... It's the name of JESUS.

@gadgettts mmmm i,m sure, i just did multiple searches on "IHS" and it turns out that this symbol is mainly associated with Jusuit controlled institutions "only". Where did they get all this money from to own such a large global congregation of networks? since they have been around since the 17th century. Its just does'nt resonate, i believe with divine assurance that IHS is associated with the egyptian diety and the opposition which was the caananite bull God, Baal & his many names.

Of COURSE it's mostly associated with Jesuit institutions. The name of our religious order has the name of Jesus in it. Why WOULDN'T we use the name of Jesus in our seal?

We didn't BUY a large global network. We built it... from scratch... from the ground up... with the blood, sweat and prayers of thousands of Jesuits before me.

And you need to check your facts, we've been around with the 16th Century.
