Steven transposed it, brought the normal F to a Bb, and even changes the words to honor current American soldiers, now, to me, this is the best I've heard the national anthem get sung by anybody who actually sang it their way.

Steven Tyler hit notes very nicely, no problems there, only problem is that his voice is not in a good condition when it comes to high notes like Bb. He needs to use a lot of power to squeeze them out - this is due all those years of "abuse" of voice.

@MrHeinaseivas i blame the harshness of his voice on this day do to a few things, t really doesn't sound like he warmed up properly, the cold as it was freezing that morning, and not having a monitor in ear or near him probably didn't help, he sang last weekend with carrie underwood and his voice was incredibly smooth, hitting notes like Bb with almost no effort or straining,in fact the high note during dream on, he sustained longer then ive ever heard him,just call it an off day

- beginning "Oh" is F3 down D3, he sings off note A3

- "see" is B3, he sings F4

- "by" (" ..the dawns..") starts with D4, he sings near A4

- " early..." starts D3 and go to E3♯, he sings A3

- "what so..." is F3, he sings B3

- 'proudly..." is D4, he sings A4

And so on..
