OH MYYYY GREAT GOD!! I went to school with Misty from 4th to 9th grade, when I moved away (12 yrs ago).... I always wondered about her and since I found a lot of my old friends on facebook I started looking for her and found this wonderful surprise! I knew this STAR when she started dancing! I remember her at school always talking about how she dreamed of being a ballerina and WOW! What a perfect dream come true!!!!!!!! Very happy to have crossed paths with her!

Misty Copeland is AMAZING... I'd like to see MUCH More videos of her. She is an inspiration to every SINGLE Black Dancer in the World. And YES I know that she isn't the first black ballet dancer, but she is the first African American female dancer to make it to soloist in North America, the pervious dancer before her made it to the Corps in Europe.
