For those who asked where they could find this film--I think CameFromOuterSpace was one--it can be found at TLA Video at its website, which is almost always a very good source for gay films. This company is very supportive of the gay community, so it's good to support it in turn.

Another firm that carries it is Deep Discount DVD. That website, too, ofttimes carries a fairly good selection of gay movies. This is film is one to own, as you might find yourself watching it more than once.

This is in the upper ranks of gay comedy. It has realistic characters with believable lives. They are firmly rooted in the cultural life of Britain; most of them work in the arts, television or theatre. This gives the film a grounding and a sense of reality.

Most of the characters are likeable, and you enjoy watching them. When one tells another, "You need someone like me," you think that maybe he does. The film is, also, very funny and amusing. At times, too, it is rather poignant.

I completely disagree

I absolutely loved this movie...don't know entirely why but it was adorable, dramatic, and funny. It's hard to get into it if you don't pay attention because there's a LOT of different elements to this movie. This of course I just MY opinion. My advice: go watch it. I know a few websites you can find it on if anyone is interested.
