i have a question, this is sort of about the tool in general. so is using eyelash curlers say once a day everyday bad for your eyelashes in any way? loved the video btw! :)

@Firkalicous No, it is not bad for you as long as you aren't pulling your lashes out with it. You should not feel any pain when curling them (that would be a cue to put the curler a little further from your lid where the eyelashes grow out of).

ok now, elf brushes are horrible, I have that exact one that you just showed and it's the worst brush ever. First of all, the hair is falling out of it everytime I use it, also the handle is loose, and just about to fall apart, even that it's the new brush that I rarely ever use.

i love the studio line! i haven't gotten anything from the mineral line yet because they only have their loose eyeshadows out in new zealand at the moment. i don't really recommend you get the $1 items if you're planning on getting them to wear everyday. the only things i would get from the $1 items would be the eyeshadows and lipglosses :) and maybe the healthy glow bronzing powder :)

I love love love ELF products!! I love the palletes of eye shadows that have like 16 different shadows for $5.00. I actually purchased mine on clearance at my local Target for $3.48. WOW what a deal and they are great quality product too!!!

I really do not like brands that use animal by products such as fat, or urine. Or insect products like ground shells for color or silk (worm spit) I also look out for products with a lot of talc, they crease and wear off quickly. The other ingredients I dislike in ELF and other products are Parabans and Petro chemicals. This is my face, not a lab experiment or car. Ick. If you love make up you should really try a make your own mineral kit. Budget friendly, fun and gross free.

ELF doea not test on animals true, however they do use animal based ingredients and petro chemicals. If you want to put animal fat, piss and ground insect shells on your skin because its affordable enjoy. Personally i think its seriously gross.

@Bellee23 Actually there are some great affordable brands and options for amazing make up without gross ingredients. You can make your own with mineral make up kits very inexpensively and have a great time, or buy from vegan friendly lines like BareMinerals, Aveda, Korres and some other really fun small named lines. I prefer the make my own because its just fun! I always get colors I like that wear well. And I know nothing disgusting is in them. not everybody tests on animals either.

This is probably old news now, Emily, but KMart now carries ELF on a regular basis and ELF has just as much shelf space as the other brands. I bought a bunch of their stuff to try and for me, it was all over the field... some were pretty darn good, others just junk. It didn't seem to matter if it was $1 or $3, either.
