dude im from lawrence and i was about to cry when he made that shot. it was a amazing shot and you have to admit it. ku played a lot harder and had no trouble in ot. rock chalk jayhawk baby. i even went down to mass stret to celebrate.
Well I think both teams played hard. But when he hit that shot I knew that we were going to lose. KU had all of the momentum going into overtime. I watched the overtime uninspired and devastated. In my mind we had already lost the game. I can't explain the feeling but I never felt like that over a sporting event before. Like I said before I truly believe a part of me died on my friend's floor that day. Talking about it is sort of like therapy for me.
As a KU fan, I'd like to say good luck to the city of Memphis and the Tigers. That was the best championship game I've ever seen. It just sucks that the Tigers had to be on the losing end.
Memphis showed class and dignity, even after a loss. Now, if we could just get Calipari to stop beating us out for recruits! Good Luck, Memphis deserves a NC, and you'll get one soon.
