I'm a Veteran, I don't blame you for anything...Each and every man must make and stand by he's own dicision concerning his own life...Because its really a short ride....Forty years from now Iraq and Afgan will be as obscure as Vietnam is now...Of coarse America is going to look a whole lot different too...Do what you have to do and feel good in doing it.

The family doesn't join the military, only the soldier. If a soldier goes AWOL its only natural that the military shuts down the benefits. If I had a sick kid i would do whatever it took to supply them with healthcare

going awol is just like quitting a job. only in the military you don't have that option if you don't like it then you should be able to leave. AND if you were lied to as in this guy then you definitely should be able to leave. so unless your still working at the same job you were in high school then you've gone AWOL

People that kill in the name of war are called soldiers! People that rape and kill innocent civilians are called criminals and should be sent to jail!

Vets are being treated like second class citizens when they return from active duty. People that kill in the name of war should be treated like heros and be given proper care to heal the scars they carry with them!

I am a veteran and I would like to say "thanks" to FluxRostrum. Just because a person signs up for the military, that does not mean that they have to commit actions that are immoral and are based on lies.
