It would be that ski doo custom built the engine and sups. and that it we have had it to the x games and other events. We also have 3 others just like it to swap out... And to your comment about the zips.. That is because the one pictured has has a couple of bumps during the start of a race...

there actually built set up for racing by ski-doo, only registered teams can buy them, and what makes it a race sled is the high compression domes the clutching and the fact you have to run 110 octane so they dont burn down. and the lack of contorls is to save weight

Top speed will be around 80 You can make changes but they are not for top end. They are for fast take off's and running 50 or so for the jumps. If you change a few things on the set up it will run a good 100
