  • Great video, if your knife isn't as sharp as his you may have to press down hard with the knife and rock it back and forth to cut through bone, that's what I have to do. Also due to the yuck factor I can only stomach cutting one chicken at a time. Also check that they didn't package the guts inside the chicken. Why they put them there I have no idea.

  • Entirely practical and vital information on how to cut a chicken. Plus one can save money by buying a whole chicken. Thank YOU for this thoughtful presentation. Great voice, great explanations, great display!

  • With the cost of food going up like it is, I will never, ever buy packaged boneless/skinless chicken breasts, tenders, thighs again. You have saved me a fortune! Thanks!

  • 0:01, just about the sexiest thing youll ever see.

  • my dad knows how to do that

  • thanks, this really helped. got my finger cut and therefore came to search how to cut.. immediately got the gist of it.

  • Thanks, good vid. Personally I wouldn't wear my wedding ring though, bacteria can get caught up in there.

  • This is fantastic. I have always avoided cutting up a chicken into pieces. I followed your video step by step and now have cut up the chicken perfectly. Well done!

  • the key is to have good and sharp knives like this man

  • Okay.. I have a WHOLE chicken that I need to butcher. And when I say whole, I mean whole... head, feet, organs, feathers, everything. It's for my dog and I'm gonna feed the whole thing. Does anyone of any video's that could teach how to butcher that?

  • You make it look so easy. Wish I could do it like that. My mother always used a big butchers knife to hack and saw as she twisted through joints and cartilege. It did the job, I see using the right knife could make it much easier. What type of knife did you use?

    Thanks!

  • Good. But, you were putting your finger on the tip of the knife. That could cause discomfort. Good tips! Thanks!
