hey man, tell evrybody actually how small were your sets. i mean the spoon and the oranges and the t.v etc etc. well i got to see it first hand....in the making as well, well done
Thanks for your kind words Vinay! The spoon was about 1cm long and each glass was a drinking straw cut to 1cm too - everything else matched this scale. They were very difficult to control and animate because we shot everything in the scene and removed the support wires in post-production.
And so you shall. No project too big or too small for libcas. Anthony expected a nomination, so think big and remember.. he started just as you have and you are well on your way already...
Thanks libcas - you are too kind. I don't think I'll get an Oscar nomination like Anthony did for his film "The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello", but it will be great to learn from someone who can make world class animations!
Thanks oddie! Hmmm, maybe someone would want some stop motion claymation for a video game - now that's an idea ;) It took us about 6 weeks though most of that was only half days so it could be quicker than doing it all on the computer!
Thanks Paul! Now I really have a huge appreciation in what they did to get Wallace and Grommit looking so good. We had to make the whole thing from start to finish - storyboard, build all the sets (house from outside, living room and kitchen), make the characters (guy and cat), camera composition, lighting, animation (move it a millimetre, take a shot, repeat x a million), post production (frame cleanup, timing, sound), etc. Quite a bit of work for just 40 seconds!
Very clever, great job.

Awesome animation and really simple and clear idea. I like this short very much.
If you want, please check: Materia nera, my first claymation short. Thanks.
