Think about it... It is just like having 2 7 port hubs... If you plug one in to the computer, that's 7. If you plug another 7 into that, you lose one of the origonal 7... 6+7=13...

That hub is overkill. Usb 2.0 has a raw data speed of 480mbps. You have 13 ports. So 480 / 13 = about 37. Meaning that your USB is not so fast anymore as it is only maxing at 37mbps.

You can only have five hubs linked together in a chain. After plugging four hubs into your PC you would need to connect the device.

The coolest thing i found to plug in to my computer is a USB Guitar Cable. The ADC is so small it fits in to a standard size male USB Connector. It looks just like an audio cable on one end and like a usb cable on the other end.

Having my usb stick with ASIO4ALL and some freeware i can quikly turn any Computer into a guitar amp. even a laptop... campfire is waiting ;-)

Well there's now a 49-port monster that a company called Cambrionix has designed and produced for professional applications. Just google 49-port hub for a few blogs and pics about it.

Like inachu, I like the fact that they're all facing up as-well, and their datasheet specifies a standard ATX power supply that will power all ports and the board at full rated current.

I bought a couple of USB memory watches (laks makes them) and they came with this tiny CD-ROM for the 98 drivers (I believe ME had them on board).

No matter how well you followed instruction in the pdf on the CD-ROM, about 1 out of 3 times you the dark thing in or out of the port, yep, BSOD.

See and this was the 98-style BSOD, no information, 2 suggestions (press key or hit Ctrl+Alt+Del) and neither of those did anything.

Nope, the 3.0 port bandwith speed will be reduced to work as a 2.0 port, and if u plug a 2.0 device into a 3.0 hub it will not take advantage of the speed increase
