To be honest though, J.J.'s Trek film had almost all of the elements that I thought were missing in the prequels. This is possibly due to J.J. being such a huge Star Wars fan. Even some of the sets Star Trek set pieces reminded me of Empire, which is primarily why I incorporated it into this trailer.

Honestly, if Lucas was ever going to do a sequel trilogy I think it would be best to adapt Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy and Dark Empire. The Thrawn trilogy could serve as the first film with Dark EmpireI & II and Empire's End serving as the second and third films.
It would be better than anything Lucas would likely write considering the terrible job he did with the Prequel Trilogy.

@Zachary0701 I'm very glad that you liked the trailer! as far as your question I know Jedi and Sith can live on after death as we saw in the Original Trilogy. As far as returning in the flesh, some ancient Sith lords have been successful in doing so by taking over another persons body, I don't know of any Jedi that have done so. Maybe another commenter can share their knowledge on the concept. Thanks again for the positive feedback.
@solaariz Yes, that I know of, however. With the Jedi, I do not believe they were able to use that type of Dark Power. I do know that some of the Famous Sith Lords (Which I can not remember from the top of My head) were able to do this with a ancient sacrifice (Go Wooki-Pedia xD). I think, though, that you should make the guy get called by Luke Skywalker, his great great great great grandfather, who he desn't know about, then as he fights those sith guys the force gets into so much chaos that old jedi begin coming back to life and aiding in the fight against the sith.

Not a bad story. Well done, solaariz. I too want a sequel trilogy very much so. But I'd like it to be about Luke bringing in the New Jedi Order. Timeline: 20 or so yrs after the events of ROTJ.
@spartonAU Yes, I've played it, and still do. It has a good story, and would make a perfect intro for a sequel to the originals. ;) Maybe GL should have done that instead of the god-awful prequels. (With someone who actually knows how to write better dialog, and storylines.) The prequels were horrifically written, most of the story made no sense whatsoever, the characters were wooden, and the dialog was atrocious. All because GL didn't have a writing team, and he directed all 3 of the prequels.
actually they have sequels written all the way to where Leiahs kids are the main characters in the new jedi order. im reading the first book after ep 6 now. few chapters left. i never really read a novel before this and im hooked. Its amazing.
Very nicely edited and I really like the story. I'd rather this be episode 22 though. There is so much that would happen in a 7,000 year period and I'd hate to miss out on it. Great job again!

@thebobman56 you take way too great offense to a Fan made video... I am willing to bet any fan of Scifi would recognize the majority of the material in the video, (dark city, dune, jj abrams star trek, I think pirates of the caribbean, chronicles of riddick, stargate, etc. ...
I applaud the editor for making good use of other movies and showing a bit more imagination to create the narrative for this trailer, than Lucas did with the "prequels".

@Zachary0701 I'm very glad that you liked the trailer! as far as your question I know Jedi and Sith can live on after death as we saw in the Original Trilogy. As far as returning in the flesh, some ancient Sith lords have been successful in doing so by taking over another persons body, I don't know of any Jedi that have done so. Maybe another commenter can share their knowledge on the concept. Thanks again for the positive feedback.

@solaariz Yes, that I know of, however. With the Jedi, I do not believe they were able to use that type of Dark Power. I do know that some of the Famous Sith Lords (Which I can not remember from the top of My head) were able to do this with a ancient sacrifice (Go Wooki-Pedia xD). But again, this would be a awesome Film! :-)

@solaariz the jedi never return from the death because they don't know fear while sith lords do so they search a way to live on while jedi accept death because its a part of life and the force so i think not lol

Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise that he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even stop the ones he cared about from dying

This is epic! I think, though, that you should make the guy get called by Luke Skywalker, his great great great great grandfather, who he desn't know about, then as he fights those sith guys the force gets into so much chaos that old jedi begin coming back to life and aiding in the fight against the sith.

The Sith idea is brilliant, however I must disagree on not having at least Luke Skywalker around. Have Luke in a Ben Kenobi character and have one of his children as the new protagonist. After all Star Wars is about the story of the Skywalker family.

Not a bad story. Well done, solaariz. I too want a sequel trilogy very much so. But I'd like it to be about Luke bringing in the New Jedi Order. Timeline: 20 or so yrs after the events of ROTJ.

@spartonAU Yes, I've played it, and still do. It has a good story, and would make a perfect intro for a sequel to the originals. ;) Maybe GL should have done that instead of the god-awful prequels. (With someone who actually knows how to write better dialog, and storylines.) The prequels were horrifically written, most of the story made no sense whatsoever, the characters were wooden, and the dialog was atrocious. All because GL didn't have a writing team, and he directed all 3 of the prequels.

actually they have sequels written all the way to where Leiahs kids are the main characters in the new jedi order. im reading the first book after ep 6 now. few chapters left. i never really read a novel before this and im hooked. Its amazing.

Very nicely edited and I really like the story. I'd rather this be episode 22 though. There is so much that would happen in a 7,000 year period and I'd hate to miss out on it. Great job again!
