Just a speedrun tactic, in BigMouth Galaxy, you could,instead of getting the Sling Star, jump out of the water, perform a wall jump, and land in the other river-puddle-thing.

Dark matter is the exact opposite of matter. If you fall into dark matter you would semi slowly and most likely painfully disintegrate into non existence. What it does is it destroys each and every molecule that it touched and if you managed to escape what ever part of you it touch, ya your not getting it back. Ever.

Dark matter is quite literally just dark matter.

The term was first coined when scientists tried to calculate the mass of the universe (everything they could see anyway), but weren't able to. This was simply because too much of the what they wanted to calculate couldn't be seen because it was too dark. It was then said that the they couldn't determine the mass because most of what they saw was dark matter.
