This song was so underrated. I've always been a huge fan of the "Tails" and "Firecracker" albums. I can't believe this little gem has so few views. I would love to have been at this bookstore to hear her. It would have been great to see and hear her live. She's a natural performer.
Wow! I was wrong! The one 'Waiting for Wednesday' music video that is on youTube was edited in 1998, but no one but my band or friends ever saw it then. However, I actually wrote and recorded the song during the summer of 1993 and I edited the first music video version (completely different cut) into a promo video titled '10 Minutes from Wednesday of My Real Life'. (cont'd)
(more)It was based on a Hollywood/Beverly Hills cable access TV series that I had at the time and it played on that channel as well as was sent out to agents and managers promoting myself, to get representation. None of the VHS tapes were ever returned, of course... So, technically, although not famous like Lisa Loeb, I did write a song with that title before her album was released, and my song was released to the public in 1993.
'Waiting for Wednesday' is an unusual title for a song, and I wrote and performed mine (I'm not a pro singer, am tone deaf and did it for fun and mine was totally different) in 1998... Wonder when Lisa wrote hers?
fan since 96 always love her seen her once got to see her again
