I don't understand why all of these cool mods are always in the U.K. How come there are thousands of fortwo's sold in the U.S. and nobody in the U.S. is doing any cool stuff like this?
All the cool stuff is in UK and everything that's cool comes to the US as we were some poor ass 3rd world country or something. I am offended. Whatever you guys have, we should have, too. The US should not be lagging behind in coolness and technology. Whatever is badass that is made in the UK needs to be sold in the US simultaneously.
We are getting scammed that you guys get the awesome TDI that gets an amazing like 70-80 MPG while we're stuck with Japanese engines that get 1/2 the MPG. Why are we getting pounded in the ass by this? This is a scam. I would LOVE to get 80 MPG!!!
I was not sure if diesel was readily availible in USA. There are specs that USA gets which we dont. I love your external lights which keep indicators on.
That's what pisses me off. If you guys get diesel, we should get it, too. I'm tired of taking it in the ass at the pump. If you guys have 80 MPG cars, then the USA should have them, too. Many of us have a good 45-60 minute commute to work. We desperately need an 80 MPG car here!
Lights, bumpers, interior changes.... not too sure. I only like the USA lights (indicators) being on as you drive. Speak to your local smart centre, ask about them making order of cdi to usa spec. It can be done, just like i can order a usa spec in germany to drive in england (if i wanted)

The US has a US look, Europe has a Euro Look, Japan has a Jap style.
You do have spec changes in USA, not sure you have the the turno models of 451.

No need to swear. I don't understand your comments about "ass pounding". If you want the cdi in the USA, import one from germany made to USA spec.

It will cost much more than the $15,000 that they are costing already to do that. I don't want to pay $25,000+ for a smart car. That's insane.
What do people do to the car to convert it to the USA spec?

I cannot afford to do that. I found a 2008 cabriolet for $12,000 with 10,000 miles. That's a hell of a deal.

Buy it, but make sure its the turbo model if you want get the best mods. 127bhp upgrades yum yum yum :-)
