  • two people never came down

  • Totally f**king wicked. Sabbath grooving like no tomorrow. Makes me deleriously happy. Thanks for posting.

  • so that's my favorite band, fucking aye man!!!!!!!!!

  • I thought i had heard every black sabbath song...i'venever seen this on any of their albums.

  • @ZZZyeahwhatever listen to blue suede shoes!!!

  • I shit a little during anal sex

  • I think this song sounds too much like The Kinks, The Monkees, The Cream etc 60's music. Imo the real Black Sabbath feel missing on this song.

  • there isnt enough BRRAAAARGGGGGGHHHH screamo shit to the sound of a barely distinguishable double kick bass for most new rock fans under 30 to appreciate this.

  • @PortsmouthNoir Are you kidding?

  • Jiminy cricket! This is ACE!!!!

  • This is AWESOME!!! ROCK ON!!!!!

  • 1:43 thats edition lol , awesomee song

  • SWWWWEEEEET!

  • this is so fucking awesome man! thanks for uploading!

  • This seriously should be a 10 minute song. I love it so fucking much

  • AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! I FUCKING LOVE SABBATH!!!!!!!

  • thanks for this

  • wow this is awesome. they should officially release their 1969 demos on a CD

  • guitar line always blew my mind

  • Awesome tracks. I've never heard any of them.

  • What a voice ozzy had. so under-rated. i think hes slipped a bit now but in these early days he was really soaring. What tone! a real one-off. I like this song man! how come no ones cleaned up these old demos and put them out? or is this all there is of it? shame

  • How the FUCK ... have I listened to Sabbath all my life and only just found this!?

  • what kind of fool "dislikes" this?

  • @doom696mented I dont know if that is a good thing or not. Look at Ozzy these days.....stay away from drugs that is for sure!

  • @337camo Umm ... he's still alive and still one of the most important, influential ... and quite frankly wealthy figures from the 70's. I say, more drugs for everyone if they can handle it like Ozzy. Then again, I see your point.

  • @decmetalhead I dont even know what that first guy said because his comment was removed.

  • anyone have the lyrics?

  • Ozzy said Earth was influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Beatles, The Doors ... You can hear alot of jazz/blues/psych rock influences in this one .

  • I want a leather jacket like Ozzy's in that picture so much.

  • Why the fork was this not released !

  • As famous as they are I still think they are underated.

  • this should be on an album

  • Great Voice ..Ozzy and Sabbath are the best

  • Unreal. This is the stuff people uncover that I LIVE to hear. Ozzy sings:

"When I come down..." little did he know he'd be touring the world for the next 40 years and wouldn't EVER come down.

  • This is excellent. There's some fake videos out there pretending it's them playing, sounds fucking awful and people are saying its 'candy to the ears'.

    Thanks for the video!

  • I thought i new all sabbath /ozzy , this has made my day thanks for uploading

  • F'in great!!!! Thanks for the upload.

  • love bs

  • Any hope for another reunion ?

  • Why don't Thay release this on a new cd edition?

  • Fuck yeah ! \m/ Black Fucking Sabbath!

  • hey this song is from the norman haines band!

  • BLACK SABBATH BANDA HISTORICA FICARA NOS LIVROS DE HISTORIA

    BRASIL BLACK SABBATH

  • wow, thankyou so very mcuh for this upload :D

  • Sounds like Jimi Hendrix Experience

  • @ter50 Yeah, man I agree.

  • @ter50 Jimi Hendrix Experience sounds like them.

  • @straight2helll Sorry, Sabbath are one of my favourite bands but Hendrix helped to forge their sound and he was a big influence on Tony Iommi

  • @straight2helll it's the other way around. Jimi Hendrix was a very big influence on Tony Iommi and he was already playing before Sabbath (or Earth in this case) ever wrote/sang a song.

  • @ter50 but this is better

  • does anyone have tabs for this song?

  • @garikk77 It's called ears man.

  • This is one of those classic metal songs what has an epic riff what you will never forget once you hear it!

  • Love the guitar riff on this tone.

  • how come you cant find Earth anywhere on this site.. if any one knows where to look it would be nice too know.... I LOVE THIS F ING SONG!!!!!!!

  • thanks great stuff

  • if you want this its free to download

    01 The Rebel (02:46)

    02 When I Came Down (edit) (01:58)

    03 Thomas James (08:29)

04 Early One Morning Blues (04:43)

Thomas James is probably a fake.

  • ahhhhh.......thank you so much for editing it so it longer. i wish whoever out there can release these earth era tapes...if they havent been destroyed like the pink floyd on the top of the pops videos :'(

  • better than lots of their other material!

  • @xsnowblindx1 no ! this is just a demo; you cannot compare a demo with their released material. I think this is one of their best pre-black sabbath demos!

  • This song fucking RULES.

  • Imagine this song on the 1st album. If it was produced right where Iommi and Ward were as LOUD as they were on The Wizard or Behind the Wall of Sleep, this song would have rocked.

  • super

  • Well, this is not the full song, just cut to play more times:(

  • This song rules!

  • A band called The Norman Haines are the ones who have the original version. from their album Den of Iniquity. execelent sounding album.

i remember finding it on rapidshare. you guys should check it out if you loved this song!

  • heh, really good! sounds like ten years after

  • Damn, this song would've fit nicely on their debut album along with songs like Wicked World and Evil Woman which were kinda on the same level.

  • i got a massive poster of the first picture on my wall and they all look like there staring at you from any angle you look it & i Love this song so much its a shame it was never released properly

  • I always thought Geezer looked f'n wicked in this photo...

  • Geezer izzzz WICKED!!!

  • playing the same snippet twice hardly makes up for the fact that we cannot get this whole tune...quite a bummer.

  • how the hell didnt this make it on the LP

  • it's from the Earth era... Black sabbath was called Earth by the time!

  • yeah i mean why didn't they keep the song it's got soul!

  • @snubbs741 its probly not the style they wanted on the album - not gloomy enough, too bluesy.

  • @snubbs741 it wouldnt fit with the other songs i love this song but it would have been kinda weird on the album bein an upbeat song. thats probably why

  • @snubbs741 They probably just didn't want to include it.

  • @snubbs741

cuz snubbs is a pussy bitch

  • thanks for sharing

  • This song is amazing! But this fucking edit cutting in the song is very anoying. I wonder if the original version can be found?

  • The closest thing to the original in full is Stone Axe - When I Came Down, a band covering the song in full in Black Sabbath manner.

  • @crowbarftw Ya man Stone Axe is great! Seen them twice. Tony Reed is an incredible guitarist.

  • @DarkHypocrisy

The story of the tape is that there is only one copy of the fifty-some seconds in existance. The song was written by Norman Haines and he released it on an album of his own in the early 70's. Stone Axe has revived it by taking the Norman Haines version (which sounds not at all like Sabbath), and playing it as if Sabbath would.

You can hear both versions in the videos over there. ---->

  • Simply lovely! Amazing!
