@crakinskulls4321 on which guitar? Ibanez normally run their own actives, which are still a really decent pickup. I have their actives in my RGA220Z and i am stoked with this pickups (and that guitar)

@D1vid3By0 frankly i think pirrung is talking shit, ibanez guitars as a whole do not suck, yeah sure there are some crappy ones, but there are crappy guitars from every manufacturer, if you want to invest in ibanez, then i suggest you do plenty of research on your desired guitar, and if all looks good, then go for it mate :)

man fuck Ibanez and their bullshit Dimarzio/ibz pickups. that pisses me off if i pay 1200-2200 for a guitar I don't want crappy stock pickups. The ones on the premium aren't anywhere as good as real dimarzio pickups. I mean jesus christ they can put dactivators on aan 800 dollar xiphose but they're to cheap to put them in as stoock? so we have to live with those stupid Inf pickups?

bad pickups and the worst floyd rose, but the body and neck are killer compared to esp guitars in my mind!

going to put Mo´joe and a real floyd rose on it this spring!

yep I agree.I also think the stock Ibanez pick ups lack a little of that oomph,Seymour Duncan and Dimarzio have.But the guitar itself,neck and everything is top notch.

@jonbuho as both a PRS and Ibanez lover, in my opinion it's that basically all RG's, S's, etc. are pretty much all the same, just different finish or some small details, whereas those companies you listed each model has it's own unique personality and sound. Not that it's a bad thing for Ibanez, they're excellent deals and excellent guitars at any price point. Just my .02
