I've been thinking about replacing cigarettes with a pipe partly because it leaves your hands free once it's lit. I've tried a couple but the Peterson system pipe is THE one for me. It is very different. It is easy to keep in the mouth when walking and fidgeting with my dogs. There is a small rim on the bottom of the mouthpiece that is easy to hold in your teeth with out clamping down on it all the time. The draw hole placement reduces drain back into the pipe.
At 2:41, is that a 317? Or a 314? Can't decide on which size I want to go with, I know they're both small-ish. Want something I can clamp down on and work.
I have a question. Does this system with the drilled reservoir and P-lip mouthpiece go for all Peterson pipes, or just for the Peterson system pipes. I am interested in buying a Rosslare, does the Rosslare have the same advantages?
@salamander162A Not all Peterson pipes come in system form. And from what I know (I do not claim to be any kind of expert) Peterson is the only brand to do the system drilling.
I got a Peterson system pipe last month and I kind of like the dryer smoke. I don't like the fact that it burns too hot compaired to my other pipes. Is this normal?

Is the pipe at 3:31 a 306 or a 304?

@laszlokovaks It is a 306. The 304 shape is the same shape, but a little bit smaller.

Very informative. I've been looking for a big Peterson house pipe in a bent sandblast or a rustication, tough to find.

I have a couple of Peterson's pipes including two system pipes (302 and 309). Very nice pipes and pretty good smokers. I love them!
