Is that room in your own place or is it in your parents house? I noticed when I lived at home, I never cleaned my room, but when I moved out on my own, I try to keep my room super tidy. Its weird cause I used to have my mom always complain about the mess my room was in, but now I clean it on my own without anyone telling me to clean it.

My parents' house. I'm currently attending a local college and have no need to have my own place. It used to be at least 12 times messier than it is now, but lately it hasn't been worse than what you see. I'm getting better! I just usually don't have the energy/motivation to clean it.

I hear ya. BTW, do ya like sleeping on a mattress without a bed frame? I'd feel weird not have that foot or so of space when I wake up and put my feet down on the carpet. But thats just me. I'll be quiet now. :)

Well, when I was little, I enjoyed sleeping on the floor much more than in my bed. Then, a little less than 4 years ago, I got sick of my huge framed bed that was taking up all this room... so I just started sleeping on my floor with a couple of blankets. Eventually, my father made me use a matress, because he was convinced I'd develop back problems or something... so, it's a nice compromise between the actual floor and a bed. I do like it very much.
