watching Ally McBeal season 2 and John Ritter is guest starring....I loved 3's company growing up, even though I was a child of the 80s and 90s. He was definitely a natural performer.
I was driving to work the morning I heard about John Ritter dying. I had to pick my lower jaw up off of my lap, and then I cried the rest of the way to work. I grew up watching Threes Company and still watch it on TV Land every night. What a cool guy he seemed to be. I wish I could have known him.
god, can you imagine Billy Chrystal as jack....that would have been brutal ---- Joyce, Suzanne and company can thank their lucky starts that didn't happen.....
@fastfootedone No! But, then again, I can't imagine anyone but John Ritter as Jack Tripper. He was such a brilliant physical comedian. I cried laughing in the episode where he was drunk and fell over the sofa. Billy Crystal never could have done that convincingly.
why is it every parent no matter if they are a actor , wrestler or what ever job they have done for years they try to discourage their kids from fallowing in their footsteps. I mean if if it was good enough for them why not their kids.
I grew up watching him, I'm not gonna lie, I cried like a baby when he died. I will always remember him as Jack, but I've seen him play other roles, this man had talent, and there will never be another one like him PERIOD
I think the funniest stunt he did about 30 times over 7 seasons of 3c was that in a panic he would run toward the kitchen past the phone...hitting his nuts into the vacume cleaner handle...getting tripped up by the chord and fall on his ass on the floor...super funny!
John is proof that sometimes even God can be impatient, knowing that a soul like his can make even heaven a better place to live...keep 'em laughing, John.....
Wow, John RItter and Johnny Cash dies on the same day of each other on Sept 11, 2003 then six years later, this time on June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett both died, ain't that something
I miss you John, it feels like you just left us. Your humor and upbeat personality lifted me up out of darkness on endless occasions. Thank you John, you are truly an icon
So sad. I can't believe he's been gone for over 6 years now. I was watching reruns of "Three's Company" last night and thought about what a great talent he was to the stage. I only wonder what would have happened if he went to the hospital at the first sign of chest pain, vomiting, etc. and not waited so long to seek help. By all accounts, he might have been saved. RIP John Ritter. You will not be forgotten.
What a sweet, witty, down-to-earth man! It's obvious that his colleagues and co-stars LOVED him. I can't imagine how devastating his loss was for his family. I cried for over a week after I heard the news. TV and movies won't ever be the same without him. R.I.P. John Ritter. We love you always!
Yeah, they treated him for a heart attack when he really had an aortic dissection. Basically, malpractice. I read up on it when I heard about it. He was definitely one of the greats. RIP John!
That was awesome when Kaley said, "I would never ever leave this show - ever", John says, "that's what Suzanne said!" LOL Guy was brilliant. He is still missed.
I think that the doctor who misdiagnosed him should have gotten fired if he didn't. He doesn't deserve o continue being a doctor if he can't correctly diagnose people and have them die.
This man was a part of my childhood. I grew up with Three's Company for years...without him the show would be nothing, seriously, as with other shows. He has this spirit that makes me feel so good, even when I'm feeling down. I don't know ANY actors that made me feel the way he did. I love the last part about the golden thread too. Thanks John Ritter for the memories, the laughs, your incredible wit, and of course, your good hearted talent..always innocent, never pompous.
I've always heard people in the industry say that John was one of the few, genuine, nice guys in the business. It absolutely shows. I cried when he died and it's still so sad. He was a comic genius and a great serious actor as well.
@TheMagedMan , I heared the same thing about John Ritter that he was one of the few genuine nice guys in the bussiness, which is rare in show biz. most those people have big egos and let fame go to their heads.
When I heard the announcer on TV mention his name I thought he made a mistake, but then I started to cry and went into shock. I cried for weeks and had to hide my tears from my family, he was a part of my childhood...
i love the shows Threes Company and Threes a Crowd and 8 Simple Rules! i cryied when he died, i decided to do a project on him called "my role model". At least he's in a better place, being procted. John Ritter was a good man.
John Ritter was the best. I really gotta say that I could care less when a celebrity dies. But when he died I was very shocked and a little sad. JR is the type of guy you just love. Plain and simple.

john ritter is irreplacable and a gigantic loss to the world and he was full of energy and thats why he was soo funny,8 simple rules would of continued for an 3 or 4 years if not died the show was a hit and was on its way to a outstanding show

Youtube does a lot of banning, mostly to try to stop dissidents to further a political agenda. The 1st time I was banned was supposedly copywright infringement. If that is the case why isn't practically everyone banned? Just be aware that this is happening. There is no free speech.

Youtube does a lot of banning, mostly to try to stop dissidents to further a political agenda. The 1st time I was banned was supposedly copywright infringement. If that is the case why isn't practically everyone banned? Just be aware that this is happening. There is no free speech.
