  • I grew up watching Three's Company. RIP John.

  • John Ritter was the best along with redd Foxx

  • I remember waking up to this news like it was yesterday. What an amazingly sad day in 2003 this was.

  • I was driving to work the morning I heard about John Ritter dying. I had to pick my lower jaw up off of my lap, and then I cried the rest of the way to work. I grew up watching Threes Company and still watch it on TV Land every night. What a cool guy he seemed to be. I wish I could have known him.

  • god, can you imagine Billy Chrystal as jack....that would have been brutal ---- Joyce, Suzanne and company can thank their lucky starts that didn't happen.....

  • @fastfootedone No! But, then again, I can't imagine anyone but John Ritter as Jack Tripper. He was such a brilliant physical comedian. I cried laughing in the episode where he was drunk and fell over the sofa. Billy Crystal never could have done that convincingly.

  • he kinda looks like steve irwin

  • r.i.p john

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :'(

  • A wonderful talent -- he died far too soon. RIP.

  • Still so sad he's gone.

  • I grew up watching him, I'm not gonna lie, I cried like a baby when he died. I will always remember him as Jack, but I've seen him play other roles, this man had talent, and there will never be another one like him PERIOD

  • Thank's for making me laugh John! There will never be another like you, ever!

  • john...at least they still air three's company. I wish that they could have done 1 more season... X,(

  • I think the funniest stunt he did about 30 times over 7 seasons of 3c was that in a panic he would run toward the kitchen past the phone...hitting his nuts into the vacume cleaner handle...getting tripped up by the chord and fall on his ass on the floor...super funny!

  • thankyou john ritter! I have the last 3 seasons of three's company on dvd and I laugh my head off.../ @ milwaukee

  • god why do the good die young? thumbs up if u agree

  • John is proof that sometimes even God can be impatient, knowing that a soul like his can make even heaven a better place to live...keep 'em laughing, John.....

  • met john Edinburgh Festival 1968, and 69 many times great chap, as all the U,S,C gang where.

  • John Ritter was one of the greatest at physical comedy and watching Three's Company always makes me a little bit sad. Rest in Peace John.

  • verry sad that John Ritter died ..

    rip

  • So sad. I can't believe he's been gone for over 6 years now. I was watching reruns of "Three's Company" last night and thought about what a great talent he was to the stage. I only wonder what would have happened if he went to the hospital at the first sign of chest pain, vomiting, etc. and not waited so long to seek help. By all accounts, he might have been saved. RIP John Ritter. You will not be forgotten.

  • don't they do that on 8 simple rules one episode and kyle plays who ritter played, you gotta admit he was pretty good looking

  • he was so funny in threes company and in 8 simple rules.

  • Three's Company is my favorite show of all time and Jack Tripper is my favorite television character. There will never be another like him.

  • yeah i miss him clifford was my favorite show on pbskids

  • 3:33... hmmm-mmmm.

  • hey is that the guy who played Clifford

  • Yeah, the voice.

  • Three's Company is still one of my all time favorite TV shows. Loved him in Slingblade as well. Still unbelievable that he is gone.

  • I love Three's company. Been watching since I was 10, I'm 16 now :)

  • he's brilliant 8 simple rules just wasn't the same without him

  • i love him ....

  • Still my all-time favorite... What a class act. We'll meet again, John. First round at The Regal Beagle's on me.

    xoxo

  • What a sweet, witty, down-to-earth man! It's obvious that his colleagues and co-stars LOVED him. I can't imagine how devastating his loss was for his family. I cried for over a week after I heard the news. TV and movies won't ever be the same without him. R.I.P. John Ritter. We love you always!

  • I wish I could take his place. The world still needs John Ritter.

He gives so much of what this world needs. I am insignificant to a man like that.

  • Yeah, they treated him for a heart attack when he really had an aortic dissection. Basically, malpractice. I read up on it when I heard about it. He was definitely one of the greats. RIP John!

  • problem child was awesome

  • the doctors murdered him!

    I fucking HATE that!

  • yeah everyone loves john ritter he is great funny I used to watch threes company all the time it cracked me up!

  • That was awesome when Kaley said, "I would never ever leave this show - ever", John says, "that's what Suzanne said!" LOL Guy was brilliant. He is still missed.

  • I love watching him in movies, and on tv shows. It's very shocking that he died at such a young age. He will always be missed.

  • john ritter was simply the best actor i watched on tv or his movies. he was sorley be missed 4ever!!!

  • shows wtf that dumbass doctor knows

    "We dont know"

    FUCK YOU.

  • JOHN RITTER WAS THE BEST ACTOR EVER

  • Thank you for posting this. He was a great man and is still missed.

  • this is so sad didn't he have a tumor in his head isn't that how he died!

  • no, his aorta burst, or something like that

  • @amberyoda No, I think he felt a stomach pain, I was watching a different interview and they said he thought he had food poisining.

  • @amberyoda John ritter died from an aortic dissection.

  • @amberyoda No, he had an aortic dissection. Very sad, he was such an amazing man. RIP, John. :(

  • I think that the doctor who misdiagnosed him should have gotten fired if he didn't. He doesn't deserve o continue being a doctor if he can't correctly diagnose people and have them die.

  • It's sad to be watching this even nearly 6 years after his death. Thanks for the post.

  • Well he accomplished what he wished he would be remembered for. I miss him a lot, and its very sad he died so young.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. What a great interview/tribute!

  • I miss you John you were the best

  • This man was a part of my childhood. I grew up with Three's Company for years...without him the show would be nothing, seriously, as with other shows. He has this spirit that makes me feel so good, even when I'm feeling down. I don't know ANY actors that made me feel the way he did. I love the last part about the golden thread too. Thanks John Ritter for the memories, the laughs, your incredible wit, and of course, your good hearted talent..always innocent, never pompous.

  • I've always heard people in the industry say that John was one of the few, genuine, nice guys in the business. It absolutely shows. I cried when he died and it's still so sad. He was a comic genius and a great serious actor as well.

  • @TheMagedMan , I heared the same thing about John Ritter that he was one of the few genuine nice guys in the bussiness, which is rare in show biz. most those people have big egos and let fame go to their heads.

  • When I heard the announcer on TV mention his name I thought he made a mistake, but then I started to cry and went into shock. I cried for weeks and had to hide my tears from my family, he was a part of my childhood...

  • me too i grew up watching threes company i could not watch his last show 8 simple rules after he died !

  • 'to pluck the golden thread'

  • Rest In Peace...

  • R.I.P. John Ritter & Johnny Cash

  • please can this post not be deleted this time

  • ha ha..I didn't delete it. Youtube banned me!

  • why?

  • Youtube does a lot of banning, mostly to try to stop dissidents to further a political agenda. The 1st time I was banned was supposedly copywright infringement. If that is the case why isn't practically everyone banned? Just be aware that this is happening. There is no free speech.
