  • Hey, you know, this is alright!

  • yeah, ok cesaresusa, it's the older generations fault for the music being what it is today. yeah, right.

  • With so much variety in their music, there's bound to be at least one Led Zeppelin song that anyone would like!

  • fantastic!!!

  • dont get me wrong i love STP but thats fucked up that they come up b4 Zeppelin

  • Amazing! Love this song!!! excellent for this season! SUMMER :-)

Your Mom needs the computer, time for bed!

  • zeppelin sux live :( magically studio band!

  • @MrZol You're a fucking idiot. Have you not listened to We're Gonna Groove and I Can't Quit You Baby from Royal Albert Hall. They are exactly alike!!!!

  • @MrZol lol are you retarded zeppelin was one of the greatest live bands ever

  • great theme of Led Zeppelin there listening to awaken

  • im stoned by the power of Bonham in those drums!!

Her Punch in bass is awesome!!

  • Man, if i rocked up to some pub and heard this from the stage, my fucking head would explode...alas, my head will always be intact. True minstrels >0<

  • zepp is better than purple or rainbow...r u agree?

  • @mang1011 I like Purple, Rainbow, and Black, but Led Zeppelin is definitely better than both those bands combined.

  • why does everyone think kids know don't like Zeppelin?? i'm 14 i love Zep theyr'e the best, and i know loads of other kids who love them as well

  • @Thecries2

Fuck Yeh, good for you, go out and convert the wicked.

  • Comment removed

  • @bluetape13 hahahaha!!! I wanna play! I wanna play! Um, he should be strapped down and forced to listen to "Oops I did it again" about a gazillion times. Yeah, that oughta do it lol

  • But recently I realized just how much I missed them and, well, I'm back to listening to them ad nauseum again. They've just...GOT IT. THERE IS NO ONE BETTER. They took a genre of music, claimed it as their own, and perfected it! YOU CANNOT IMPROVE UPON PERFECTION. So if I'm an old fuddy-duddy who can't get past her musical youth, then so be it. I'd rather be that than someone who settles for mediocrity in the form of most of what passes for rock music today. Peace.

  • @LedLass I get where you're coming from. I too was mad about the Zep in my youth back in the early 70s and I too ditched them for years. Perhaps I thought they were old fashioned or something. Anyway call it a mid-life crisis thing if you will but I have rediscovered them and there is absolutely no comparison. They are, and always will be, the Gods of Rock.

  • In Love with Led Zeppelin, My Dream is to see them Live at least Once, I will die happy!

  • BEAST

  • cesaresusa.

I think you mean, made in England !

  • Great sound for the day..it only needs video-;

  • 2 days before pageys birthday i believe ;)

  • Bobby Brown's Humpin' Around sounds very similar. Coincidence?

  • @Corbon440 Damn the guitar riff sounds like the chorus to Humpin Around. Your right. Quite strange indeed.

  • i have a better version:)

  • Robert Plant sounds horrible in this. Jimmy sounds great though.

  • Led Zepplin is awesome!!! But what the hell Johnex3303 music isnt watering down with bands like Atreyu, Slipknot, Blink 182, Shinedown, Foo Fighters, and many more! Jonas Bros, need to die though along with Soulja Boy but Panic isnt that bad. Just open yourself metaly and physically to music. ZEPPLIN!!

  • @BulldozerBilly You spelt Zeppelin wrong x2.

  • I am so happy that I was a teen in the 70's in lieu of now with all of that high school cheerleader hip hop, Jonas Bros., Panic at the Disco, Soulja Boy and the rest of today's watered down McMusic with no soul and depth. Instead, we had the rock pioneers who did it right. 70's rock music set the standard that has yet to be matched.

  • you sir

    a. couldn't be more right

    b. i'm jealous as fuck

  • @johnex3303; Sure glad I spent $5.50 for a ticket to see these guys, great show.

  • If they officially released this they'd probably mix this. Like making the guitar louder for instance.

  • Gorgeous song. One of my favorite Zep songs

  • ohhhhh I LOVE IT!!! I worship this song. Even though i was born no where near the time of this song, its like...my all-time favorite. Me and dad will play this guitar and we'll scream the part, "I GUESS ITS ALL IN MY HEARRRRT!"

    favorite band everrrrr.

  • i never new they did this live

  • They played it live during 1972 and the early part of 1973, but never after that.

  • Zeppelin is as PERFECT a band can be,and all this IDIOTIC talk that they would be BETTER with Moon and Entwhistle...Stick your head back into the sand!!! Bonham=BEST DRUMMER EVER...John Paul Jones=Most UNDER-RATED member of a band ever! SO please stop, you only embarrass yourself...

  • Tremendo

  • yeahhh!!!!!!

  • January 7...

In 2 days it would become Jimmy's birthday from this concert...

I'm sure there was a lot of Sipping Booze and Drinking Beer at his party!

  • ONE OF MY FAV ZEPPELIN'S SONGS

  • heavy

  • Jimmy Page has a wonderful sense of harmony.

As brilliant a soloist that he is his rhythm playing is top shelf.

Page could have played for James Brown, the Meters, Tower of Power ...on any fat back memphis, fame , Muscle Shoals session.

And JPJ and Bonham...play like 'those guys' guys.

Bernard Purdie, Al Jackson and duck dunn, Roger Hawkins and David Hood.

All the greatest British bands, Zep, the Stones, the Who, the Beatles. Them sumsabitches swing hard.

  • totally agree his rhythem playing was...out of the norm but so great...it was in another dimension...heh...Page playing with Tower of Power would have been....lol interesting!

  • Apparently Kieth Moon and Entwhistle were thinking of joining when Page was forming Led Zeppelin, could you imagine.

  • idk im glad bonham and jonsey joined

besides then no more of the who

  • Keith and John are good musicians. And they would have been good in Zeppelin. But I really don't think as good Jones or Bonham as far as Led Zeppelin goes. These four guys in Led Zeppelin had a musical connection that just came so naturally for them. They knew it right off the bat. Not always easy to connect musically like they did. Jimmy Page once said,"We had musical ESP when playing together."

  • It's "sippin booze" but I really what about the line...

"I saw a Lion he was standing alone with a TadPool in Jar"

Drugs maybe? I want some. LMAO!

  • hey lovelesschris sorry to hear about you being loveless, you must be living in toronto too, its "tadpole in a jar" a weak little tadpole is safe in a jar, a big strong lion could easily kill it but is to dumb to figure out how to get at it,the little guy in the jar is safe.

  • What does mean "suppin boze"?

    Crazy ways are evident

In the way that youre wearing your clothes

    Suppin boze is precedent

As the evening starts to glow.

    Thanks to all

  • sippin booze maybe?

  • sippin booze

  • it is sippin booze

  • SIPPPIN BOOOZE

    DRINKIINNN BEEERR

  • can anyone explain the line about the tadpole in a jar???

    Please!:)

  • I said it's allright

you know it's all in my heart

    you'll be my only

is that the way it should start?

    I THINK IT IS

  • I think Jimmy Page makes every other so called guitarist look like a fool for even holding a guitar. He's simply the fucking best. It's not about technique. It's about emotion.

  • In which case, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton and numerous others have Page beat. Page is great, considered one of the best. But definetely not the best.

  • Except that Jimmy Page is a great composer as well as a great player. Beats all those others hands down.

  • i love this song. it's amazing. it's nice to know SOME people know music.

  • this song is more than cool, its zeppelin

  • i heard page played this song on the (pedal) steel guitar.

  • When the Gods of Rock hit the stage, there was not much need of editing, overdubbing and "have another try, please". Here it is: rough, sheer energy, made in Britain.

Let today's kids have their plastic idols from so-called "talent shows" and PlayStation branded guitar heroes...

    We've got THE BEST!

  • You are right but you is wrong.

  • @cesaresusa and darn you for having the best music and leaving us with all the crap! but thats ok! we dont have to let this stuff go!

  • @cesaresusa you gotta feel sorry for the kids of today, they have awful, shit music, shoved in their faces!! LZ were awesome! They wont get LZ now adays.

  • @cesaresusa Yeah. Now we're in the 2000's. Horrible.

  • @cesaresusa damnit man. im sick and fucking tired of shit like this. LEARN TO APPRECIATE ALL TYPES OF MUSIC. Even the new shit kids listen to now. Hell even Led Zeppelin would agree with me. Back in the day, what they did was NEW music and it was the same situation as now. Old people refused to move along with the times. I agree with your opinion, but let people like what they like and move on. LIVE AND LET LIVE.

  • @metalloversrejoice I kind of see what you're saying, but for someone like me, I find it a waste to put in a lot of extra effort to truly appreciate typical popular groups today, when I can just find appreciation first-hand with groups like Led Zeppelin; because for me at least, it takes a lot of effort to appreciate how generic and arguably untalented music is praised. That's the difference between when Zeppelin was new and those today who are new. The musicianship has drastically dropped.

  • @metalloversrejoice yea well if you mean new music like tool or pendulum im with you... but if youre asking me to accept this disney pop bullshit then go find a good corner to die in.

  • @metalloversrejoice Who says we haven't learned to appreciate all types of music? Hell I studied voice for four years and discovered a talent for singing opera. I love alternative, and grunge, and old R&B, and even some rap, punk, and New Wave. I shelved Zeppelin for, oh, almost 20 years because I had listened to them ad nauseum back in the day.

  • @LedLass

" shelved Zeppelin for, oh, almost 20 years because I had listened to them ad nauseum back in the day."

Please change your login then. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

  • @rjlongo Dude, if you listen to ANY music 24/7 for about ten years and don't find the need to give it a rest at some point, please give up the chronic and switch to Aricept. IMMEDIATELY.

Hell, even ZEPPELIN would agree. Unledded was all about bringing something NEW to the music -- refreshing it, revitalizing it by augmenting it with Moroccan rhythms, Celtic roots. It wasn't just about doing the same music all over again.

Now get off the computer and go play.

    Sincerely,

    "LED LASS"

  • @cesaresusa .....couldnt hav said that any better brother!!!

  • @cesaresusa i kinda wish they would put zep on guitar hero so people could hear them again. or better yet a commercial of a zep song and not even advertising anything :)

  • @Tomd1013 DEFINATELY the last option. What ever happened to finding about music from your friends/parents/teachers etc???? must everything revolve around a stupid game now?

  • @cesaresusa hey im 13 and i think this is way better than the crap they have nowadays

  • @cesaresusa Hey im fifteen and i dont normally brag but i could out smart you on anything Zeppelin anyday. Nothing personal im just pointing out that not all kids like that junk.

  • @MrJowilson9

I'm glad to hear that ;)

  • @cesaresusa Learning this on guitar right now. What a tough piece of music! :)

  • @cesaresusa

Do you really have to insult the younger generation to feel good about your own? Most of the crap splayed all over the pop scene these days is the result of the older generation doing their best to mass market garbage for profit.

There are plenty of younger kids who actually do recognize the sheer force of the zep when they actually get introduced to it.

  • @artardful

Simple answer, YES! Being part of the younger generation I can most certainly attest to the lack of taste and education prominent in today's society,

  • @artardful I think that's a good point. I don't look at it as a generational thing, but these corporate creeps seem to be DELIBERATELY dumbing down everything...especially music. I don't think it's an accident - I don't totally understand it, but I have some suspicions - and I have no doubt there are a lot of brilliant talented young musicians who are languishing unknown because of this. There really needs to be a demand, along the lines of an uprising, for QUALITY MUSIC.

  • @mielazul It's comin, man. Don't worry

  • @cesaresusa inspiring words

  • @cesaresusa you do know there are some kids that listen to zeppelin.... including me

  • This is great Brother!! Thankx

  • shit, this is better than the studio version. how only three people made that sound is a mystery. not discounting mr plant,of course.

  • theres 4 members in led zeppelin

  • yes,i know. i'm talking about the instruments.

  • my favrot led zeppelin song ever

  • really? dude its ok but theres better songs by them

  • Every song qualifies in it's own way, though.

  • love the hunger and rawness of their sound back then when recordings were untouched

  • Dancing days are here again - LZ

  • I think its great how these recordings off of the board are springing up from all kinds of great bands. That's the great thing about manning the board when big act comes through, get the opportunity to record what could be a great live mix! But I'm guessing you must not have been there with a screen name like that! Thanks for the tunes

  • nice, always a fav by LZ
