  • Excellent documentary!!

  • A beautiful & accurate video detailing our Gaelic Catholic/Pre-Christian heritage.

  • fir trees were here

  • That non-imperial statement was almost true with the exception of the Anabaptists.

  • Sincerely most all Born Again Pagan Celts hunger to learn more about the Royal Celtic Druids of the Hill of Tara and about the Druid's Brehon Laws which is true to Celtic Druid Spirituality. What do you know about the Druid's Brehon Laws and about the Celtic Sun God and the Celtic Moon Goddess of the ancient Celts?

  • @MagicTellaVision The Druids were not the people who wrote the Brehon Laws, but they originated from them. It is, however, possible that the monks who wrote them were Druids in disguise. The Brehon Laws were in use all around Eirinn, as well as Alba, which few people know about. The Welsh and Cornish had similar laws (also of Druidic teaching), called the Laws of Hywel Dda.

  • @MagicTellaVision The Sun God of the Celts (Cernunnos, Bel, and Lugh, Oak King) was summoned at Beltane (named after Bel) as well as Midsummer and Yule. The Moon Goddess was known by many names; Arianhrod, Cerridwen, Danu, Morrigan, Macha, and Babd. The belief of Triple Deities originated with the Celts (Morrigan was sometimes referred to as 'the Triple Morrigan'). The Moon Goddess and the Horned God are the oldest known Deities. The Moon Goddess was honored every full and dark Moon.

  • The majority of irish people are more related to scandinavians than celts/scottish, acording to some genetic studies. The Celt culture came from Britain just like christianity did.

  • christianity came from britian? dood, im sorry, but you are fucking stupid.

  • @zlessly wheter Christianity came from britain or europe is not the point ,the point is like people in western norway have celtic blood but not celtic culture. most people in britain/ireland are people from spain and north Africa that travelled along the icy atlantic coastline after the ice age, both the germanic and celtic tribes are from the eastern part of Europe and western part of Asia just like Christianity.

  • @BJHBNE your mistaken, you dont know your migrations

  • @zlessly People along the atlantic coast in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and western Norway are darker and a bit shorter than the modern celts and Germanic tribes from the east, But they might be what my dad calls the ancient celts.

  • @BJHBNE why dont you start emailing me, and ill tell you the migrations of indo-euroeans

  • @BJHBNE

Christianity did not come from Britain....nor did the Celtic culture....way to have no idea what you're talking about....

  • where is this fim from? How do i get to see the rest of it?

  • Druidic cults?? i think not. druidism was like an all encompassing state religion! hence Romes great fear of it.

  • the Celts are not a religion they are a people - much the way Chinese, Africans, Native Americans, Anglo Saxons and others are. Celts have held many different religious beliefs. Many are Catholics, Some Protestants prolly some Orthodox and there is a Pagan tradition to. The religion is a separate issue to your tribal identity.

  • I read that irish people arent genetically celtic like the british are. The celts came from switzerland. The vikings didnt were horns on their helmuts but the celts sometimes did.

  • you read wrong the British are not Celts or Gaels they are Huns - the Scots, Welsh and Irish are the Gaels and Celts and the original inhabitants of the Gaelic/Celtic Isles soon to be independent nations.

  • The Celts descend from the Hasaltt and then later the La Tene Cultures. Both had an influence of the spread of the Celtic languages. The Irish retain their celtic heritage from an invasion out of Iberia during the late bronze age.

  • Oh well, actually the present "English" are a mix of germanic ethnic groups (Angles, Saxons, Normans, Danes) with a small "old Briton" contribution, especially in the North West. Cornwall has maintained old Briton roots instead, like Wales and most of Ireland. There's a good video here that explains that clearly, it's about the Welsh and the English, I don't remember its title.

  • Northern English, southern English, and central English still have a lot of Celtic blood.

You'll find that the only places in England where the Anglo-Saxons really made an impact is the east coast, and midlands.

Germanic genes can be found in Britain 6,000 years down the line aswell.

The Celtic people were actually a mix of French and Scandinavian tribes.

  • Well, this issue is very interesting. Probably, the old Britons weren't indoeuropean, the Celts came later and the two ethnic groups mixed. The history of my homeland, Liguria (Northern Italy) was pretty similar: the old Ligurians weren't indoeuropeans, they were related to the Basques. Celts came to Northern Italy and mixed with them, and their language and culture somehow "won".

  • The Basques are blood brothers to the Celts.

I think the Basques are pre-Celts.

I think they are indo-European people.

People have found evidence that human life in Europe can be traced back hundreds of thousands of years.

The history to European people date back to people in Northern Europe.

So Europe has always been the homeland of Europeans.

  • Yes, but there are two types of Europeans: Indo-europeans (germanic, latin, celts, slavic etc.) and non-indoeuropean (basques, ancient ligurians, etrusks, present hungarians and finns). This is what I meant: probably the first population of Britain was non indo-european, the Celts (indo-european) came later and mixed, bringing their indo-european culture to the others. I don't think that Basques and Celts are blood brothers, but they're related, like all the white/native european populations.

  • I get what you mean.

I read some place that the Basques were blood brothers of Celts.

You'll have to search it up, I'm not quite sure myself now.

  • Gah christians.....

  • Blessings to the ancestors of my Mother the Celts of Gaul & the tradition of 'Mystic Christianity' that was elements of Druidic Gnosticism that survived to civilize West Asia's peoples.
