The reason he has all starters and a Pikachu is because the 'Red' they potray in G/S/C is a remake of the player character in yellow version. In Yellow version you started with a Pikachu, you could get all three kanto starters, plus Snorlax and Eevee (which Red obviously evolved into Espeon). You could also get Lapras in Yellow.

Is she that strong in BW? In platinum, she was ridiculously easy; her moveset with nothing but attacks was easy to bait and switch. My umbreon toxic-killed nearly everything (stupid lucario and roserade), despite being 8 levels under garachomp.

@PrincipeHugoConti Most of the difficulty comes from pokemon being level 40-50 near the end of the game, this content is unlocked around that level, all her pokemon are in 75 range so I imagine most trainers have memories of wandering about killing level 65 trainers and then randomly coming across a champion and getting their asses branded.
