This is a fake, his movements of the transmitter are not in time with the helicopter, for example, when he moves the tail rotor on his remote the helicopter does not do the same also when he lowers throttle or highers the throttle the helicopter doesnt.
Your a great role model to us fathers that would love to have that passion for the hobbie like you and ur son do,you guys are definately a testament to what a father and son relationship should be like, keep up the great work and I'm sure we'll be seeing u and Justin real soon on a box of wheaties lol!!!god bless and keep flying high:)
@snowboarddude117 I don't mind at all. :) He first snatched the sim box from my hand at 18 months. I never paid attention to what he was doing with it until I saw him make a coordinated turn at about 28months or so. I wrote about how he developed his skills in "Story of Justin" in his website listed in the description above. When you go there, look under "About Me" section for the story.
@FourDollaRacing During the winter, I took him to the carpet racing couple of years back. He loved it. But, they started too late in the evening past his bed time. I will take him to on-road racing soon. :)
@redcorvettez06 Awesome. I prefer onroad, too. And, the more I fly....the better I race. One-way differentials, pulleys, spools, and pan chassis can make for a rather technical ride that certainly keeps me interested. Happy Contrails!
@FourDollaRacing Honestly, with me working full time, not sure if I can support him on airplanes, helis and cars at the same time. :( If he was older and can handle his own maintenance, it might work.
Starting the hobby at 17 alone proves to be extremely difficult. Spent hours looking for a heli and ended up buying a 6ch heli as my first... It was $90.
Support is an amazing thing. I've not seen any of Justin's airplane videos (if any are posted, but I've seen many of this heli videos (many times over) and I am just blown away at his talent and focus. I'm 35, just bought my first Blade SR and I still have the training gear on it. Maybe some day when I grow up and I can be as good as Justin is. Well Done!!!!!
@Doctorchops Your valuation of this heli is way over inflated or putting too little value on your life. :) I'll bet anything that your life is worth way way way more than 1000 of these model helis.
@Doctorchops I should also add that the sole existence of these model helis are to provide a bit of enjoyment to our lives. So, something that aides the quality of life can never have a value even remotely close to the very life their existence is designed to improve. :)
The kid isnt that good of a flyer, the people allow him to fly because he is a kid. There is nothing special about him. He also sounds cocky and acts like dick.
@coryboy345 no actually the parents where clever like many other people including myself for 3D heli and bought a simulator , most likely phoenix or similar.
This is amazing flying, but that is a very dangerous machine. I hope your dad does very good preflights. It's good that you keep it so far away when you start up.
@thermosinthesis Although gas(soline) helis are available, they are rarely used in high powered 3d helis. This is alcohol/nitro methane powered heli. Typically called glow engine as opposed to spark engine, has much higher power to displacement ratio.
