This documentary is totally more sugarcoated than the other one that is on here. I guess its good though that this one focuses more on her career and talent, but it sugarcoats her personal life which was a mess.
She should have done comedy. Doing these scorned women themes in movies and what was going on in her personal life was probably not emotionally good, though a flawless performance.
What a beautiful talented woman. I feel bad, at the end of her life it sounded like she was unhappy. Vivien Leigh, may you be resting happily up in heaven. :)
Omg Jessica reminds me of this annoying girl i know, she also talks like that - like a wind head.... it's like i would want to tell her "don't act like such a air head" !!!
Thank you for posting this. I have a qestion thoe. Why do you guys think Jessica Lange's is boaring? Just wondering:) Again thank you for posting. Gone With The Wind is my favorite film of vivien's.
Well she's a bit monotone. It almost seems like she read all of the narration, and the scenes with her should've just been cut and turned into audio narration because they're just so hard to watch.
I really like this documentary, despite Jessica Lange's annoying "childlike" vocal delivery. (Maybe that's her natural speaking voice, but JEEEZZZZzz!!!)
the way she is beautifully described by Elizabeth Ashley as having made "life a work of art" brings to mind the character of Mrs Ramsay in Virginia Woolf's "To The Lighthouse."

I am confused who told larry that vivien had died. I am sure it was Jack Merivale.

@kanyabec It was Jack. I don't know what Douglas is talking about. His mind must've been going.

Jessica is a pain. looks like she's trying hard to be the STAR here. SAD. Director should be shot too!

Agree with you, they could have picked someone else to host--Jessica Lange sounds like an idiot.

Is it me, or does Jessica Lange choke up at one point, when she's talking about Vivien going from a child who loved fantasy to an ailing woman?
Thank you for uploading this!
