@Abbelabben In a Nutshell: After dexter killed Freebo, Miguel came across Dexter before he had a chance to clean up. Miguel thanks dexter, and dexter accidentally gets blood on Miguel's shirt. Miguel give's the shirt to dexter as a sign of trust, but dexter later finds out the blood on the shirt is fake blood. Miguel kills "someone" and takes a ring as a trophy.. Dexter finds the ring and takes it, and leaves a note in place that says "The Cleaners".

This is seriously one of the best scenes in "Dexter" of all time. The dialogue, the camera-work, the background music, Jimmy Smitts, etc etc. "Not at all, they said that stain would come OUT" as he slaps his hands together. This is after a ery somber scene where Dex is talking quietly to Deb, and then this happens!!! EPIC!! I love Dexter!

What also makes this scene outstanding is the breakdown of Miguel and Dexter's bond, which was gradually diminishing right up to this scene. You really have to watch the whole series for the full impact
