@hotpocketpoison Yeah!! I´ve been working with US "quality" sins 1983 and i´m NOT impressed! A couple of years ago we found American airtools and papers inside some US made aeroplane wings. They where forgotten and bounced freely on the inside around the hydralic and fuelsystems. The wings was so poor that we had to use a huge jack to make them fit. We also tried to repair the tools but no use, The bushings and the tooling had so bad tolerance that we had to scrap everything.

@nofx4981 USA has loads of great aircrafts, but it does not mean that US made it´s the best. The funny thing is that almost all US made airplanes are copys of German made prototypes from WW2. Even the NASA rockets are based on the German tech from WW2. the ppl who helped ,designed and some part constructed the Apollo was lot´s of German nazi scientists. They escaped from warcrimes and lot´s of other things coz the US gov protected them.
@antbird The exact performance is not really out to the public and not fully tested, The Gripen NG (Next generation) is still a prototype but it actually fly already. More fuel, stronger engine, more weapons, better radar etc.. Gripen NG is a seriously updated JAS 39 Gripen. The platform is already proven, now it need a fucking big turbo upgrade ;-)
