That's not "froggy", it's husky. Any many singer try to achieve a husky voice because it stands out more than normal voices, plus notes resonates better with it. But don't smoke or drink to achieve it. I've seen lots of girls trying to imitate singers, like christina aguilerra, always having such low voices, and they don't realize people never look for that kinda of voice. You got a good voice that some people aren't born with, keep practicing and it will stand out from others.
