  • This is why the rest of the world sees your country as uncivilised...

  • WASTING WATER AND BEER =[

  • Oh and BTW that at least was worth the fans time because they got to get all their anger out and riot and show that they were serious about the gig and that will makes them prepare before every show better to avoid this.

  • I feel it man. I'd get pissed. I don't care if it's God in front of me that says it's cancelled. I'll play some hardcore Deftones and scream like crazy and riot! Shit! Still I'd love them and buy their shit ;)

  • lmao at the guy who is talking on his cell and punches the tent at 3:16

  • Whoever is talking about boycotting the band obviously has no idea how tours and concerts are arranged. This cancellation was not the band's fault. They played in Malaysia and Singapore in the same week, why would they cancel this gig of their own choice?

  • What a loss. Why didn't they just change venues? For the sake of the fans. Its not easy to get a huge band play in SEA. I know how hard it is for the fans to collect money and trying so hard to buy a ticket and wait patiently for the day of the show to come. Been there, done that bruhhhh

  • crazy thai people...lol

  • probably chino was fucked.....lol....yeh im sorry for u guys its not so often they go to thailand...

  • Feel sorry for Deftones.

  • UK is in europe

  • I mean its easier to see them in the UK, you got many choices of cities to go to & there is no concern about the voltages usage :)

  • why didn't they drink the kegs of beer instead of throwing them?!?!

  • Fuck corporations!!!

  • Fucking animals.

  • I understand both sides.

  • thing is that, is it the real reason of technical issue to cancel the show? This is the place holding concerts every week and all those great rock bands have just played at the same place... I'm just wondering....

  • @dhghgghg That is just pure racism, you bastard.

  • it's a bit suspect that it took till an hour after the announced start time for someone to announce that they forgot to bring an adapter...

  • Wow, those people are hard, they can smash drinks and break a small flimsy structure.

  • police? WTF

  • man i feel for them.. some have been waiting years to catch them live..they rarely cover the SouthEast Asian region..... hope Deftones will return to Bangkok and do a gig, proper

  • @gbajien I hope so, but many people were so angry that they decided to boycotted the band. My friend drove 7 hours just to see them.

  • @SoulJackaz Boycott the band?! It's not THEIR fault that the power supply and their equipment weren't compatible. It would've been worse if the band played on,and one of them were to get electrocuted.

  • @alpacheno they did not present at showtime (not the concert time). They were supposed to present at 2pm, then they changed to 5 pm, then they changed again to not present (concert time was 6 or 7pm). It was obvious about their responsibilities. They made an obvious bad excuse.

    IT IS THEIR FAULT.

  • @alpacheno people were so angry at the time, and in fact, the actual reason they canceled the gig is still a mystery. The promoter said it was because they could not provide ONE specific gear and the manager was too picky so they canceled the gig, while the band said that one of their staff almost got electrocuted. We still don't know what it fact and the PR was horrible at the time.

  • @SoulJackaz Yeah,I can see how making a whole bunch of people wait and wait and in the end cancels it can be frustrating.

Yeah, somewhere along those lines. I read that it was because Thailand's power supply is about 220V, and their American made instruments run at about 110V (if I can recall correctly). Because of this, they couldn't play. It would be really dangerous if they carried on playing,in my opinion.

So I still think organizers and promoters are to blame.

  • @SoulJackaz Yeah go speculate more then, since you have NO idea what the real reason is this kind of behavior is of course allowed. Hope they don't come back to Bangkok.

  • U mad?

Also ive seen them live 11 times........

  • @metalmonkey666 My feeling mixed up. I lost a good chance to see them and I can understand people who started the riot. Deftones fans here are serious fans who have been support them for ages and when the gig was canceled like this just broke them hearts. Lucky you that you got to see them that often.

  • @SoulJackaz

Na I was kinda trolling. Lol. but yeah I feel you from what I understand not many bands do shows out side of US and Canada. So its kinda a big deal when they do go some place els and then cancel. But yeah Deftones plays almost every big show that comes through in Dallas so ive seen them so many times im sick of them.
