oh man. we recently adopted our westie. truly, he made NO noise for nearly two weeks. my mom kept calling him mute because all he would do by way of a "bark" was snapping his teeth together once or twice. FINALLY, we were woken up in the middle of the night by this howl. i think it's hilarious.
