  • Bring on the gimp!

  • useless information. thanks.

  • LOL at this douche, this really was useless

  • if you name this video "how to set up..." you should actually show how to set it up. useless

  • Closed captions : "She is male contacts and calendars." lol! :)

  • That did not help at all. Thanks for nothing, jerkface! BTW, you are not funny (God, where do these idiots come from?)

  • This is what worked for us. You need to grant access to ActiveSync for any IP address.

-ISS > WebSites > Default Website > Microsoft Server ActiveSync -Right Click > Properties -Directory Restrictions Tab -Edit IP address and Domain Restrictions -Grant access -Apply

Finally got it to work after 4 weeks of pain and frustration.

    Hope this helps.

  • Tried this but my network was already set to allow access. I've tried everything and this service just will not work!! Argh. Any other suggestions?

  • i thought he was going to demonstrate some sort of secret handshake for the MS13. My Bad...Good Morning Everybody!

  • you are a loser,

get a life it is an Iphone for goodness sakes!

    you SUCK

  • ADD ME

  • blah. =[

  • Great video!

    Guy

  • You morons actually get excited over this garbage which gets you more and more addicted to, and more and more reliant upon--------- gadgets.

Soon the best entertainment will be just watching all the people that go blank and start drooling if their IPhone goes dead.

    We are NOT evolving.

  • Im not adicted to this

  • hey can i run exchange if i update my old iphone????

  • You cannot run Exchange on an iPhone.

  • You can if you listened to the Keynotes lately the Iphone OS 2.0 does support Microsoft Exchange.

  • Hi mangaeva, the keynotes are very much misleading. You cannot install and run MS Exchange on an iPhone as Exchange is an email/collaboration application server (that is integrated with Active Directory) which runs on Windows Server platforms. You connect to Exchange via a web client like Outlook built into the iPhone. It is not possible to install Exchange on an iPhone in any way shape or form.

  • Who said it is??? Is Gmail on the iPhone is AOLmail on the iPhone or the others?? Its not missleading at all. Just somepeople make it look like something that people can missunderstand. It only gives you possibility to connet to a Microsoft Exchange server so you can get your Emails and contact data blah blah pushed to your phone. Just like the Gmail on the iPhone And the others. Gosh people what are you think?

  • The point was that the video title is: How to Set Up MS Exchange on iPhone 3G. My comment was merely that while you can connect to Exchange you cannot set it up on the iPhone.

  • Of course you can't. But the phrase "run exchange" generally means the device is compatible with Exchange. It's a social expession, not a litteral one.

That's just a silly statement, why would you run an Exchange Server on a phone.

  • Of course the iPhone 2.0 software supports Microsoft Exhange Gha!

  • Shoot me if I ever start to care about shit like this. I'm going to get some excercise now.

  • nnnnnnnerd?

  • nerd much?

  • rofl, least he admits it haha =P

  • pause at 7

  • go fuck urself

  • i agree :D

  • Real mature cannoi12 and haku155.

  • I can tell this video is going to be hugely popular.

  • OK, is this a video of lies or are you just mis-informed?

You cannot setup MS Exchange on an iPhone or any phone. Exchange is an application server platform that runs on servers. What you setup on an iPhone is an email client, like Outlook.

You'd think as our 'guide to digital life' you would know this.

Also, protocols exist for communication and configuring them is outside the scope of an enduser's purview. They are all pre-configured.

Perhaps you should consult another 'Geek, like you'.

  • LOL. Agreed, promotheus. When I first read the title, I was expecting this guy to update his AD Schema on his iPhone (good effing luck).

Might as go with the super-compelling title: "Corporate Exchange Server Runs On iPhone"

    Requirements: 8GB RAM

  • two dot oh? what a dumbass. and these videos are too short to actually do anything.
