@dedemaister Seen this at another earlier concert around 94 jonny swapped telecasters and played a black one for a few bars, hmmmm.... wonder why he did it for this, if you pause at te right second yo0u can clearly see the headstock and the top horn of the starcaster, even the black trim round the base of the headstock! 0:38 !
agreed. this is from a Coachella festival DVD, which only features this one song from Radiohead. The producer or whomever probably decided they liked a certain shot of Jonny going off and wanted to use it, or they just screwed up. But at 3:03 jonny is playing his tele, and at 3:08 he's shown playing the other guitar, not enough time to switch. The editors probably didn't expect the adroit observations of the radiohead faithful.
that's bullshit. the lighting that they use is amazing live, I've seen them at glastonbury 2003 and this year at reading, clsoe to the front. all the cameras are way focused on this, thats how they make it look good.
Another attendee... they were GRRREAT! I have to agree with another comment here - they are fantastic set wizards and about the tightest band live I have ever seen.
I have to admit here that I went there because of my then bf on the first place BUT I ended up loving them! They were amazing at Coachella!! It was all worth it staying in the hot sun all day. We were at the front. Best time of my life!
Yes I was there as well, it made the whole damn hot day worth it. I never thought a band could sound so good live, they have like scientists doing there live sound or something.
There There 2 + 2 = 5 Lucky Myxomatosis My Iron Lung Exit Music (For a Film) The Gloaming Karma Police Sail to the Moon I Might Be Wrong Sit Down. Stand Up. No Surprises The National Anthem Paranoid Android Idioteque Street Spirit (Fade Out)
perhaps his saying "when I was at college" that could make sense. This is an amazing performance- I went to coachella the year previous, but missed this show-boy did I miss out!
I was there that night, and I remember feeling like lighning was racing down my spine when Johnny broke into that riff. A truly electrifying (pun intended) experience.
