  • Doing a solid minute of swinging with a 10-12lb hammer is hard enough. Doing that with a 40lb must be brutal.

  • pretty impressive ! Now I know what to work up to

  • The guy is a beast!...Great job!

  • I know some big old dude who used to swing the 40Ibs sledge in one hand.. his forearms were the size of my legs almost.

  • @TheTechController We got an older fellow in my town that's the same way. Rips phone books and all that.

  • @FitnessForOldFarts yeah well the old dude we got hunts horses, kills and skins them bare handed. horses for the lean meat.. less fat more protein that way.

so you tell your old dude where to stick it.

  • @TheTechController I'll let you tell him...thanks!

  • @FitnessForOldFarts lol... best we leave those old dudes to it then.

  • @TheTechController Right on!

  • Holy Shit!!

This video appears to be a jaw workout for the dude behind the camera.

  • damn I bet thats an intense workout.

  • @FlashmoreGash it's called encouragement, should try it some time

  • Beastly. Nice job, sir.

  • Annoying dude!..does he ever shut up..

  • Hooah.

  • Hey Grunt. Try swinging into soft ground rather than getting a tire bounce back to waist level and you'll be down to a 16 pounder toot sweet!

  • That is fucking hardcore man!

  • so what exact muscles does this work?

it looks like a exhausting workout!

  • @iknowhere

The entire midsection (both preventing and causing lumbar flexion, rotation... pretty much everything), lats and grip. Not to mention that it's one hell of a conditioner.

  • Nice work. And thank you for your service.

  • 2 people are tires.

  • Great, especially with rhythm! I counted exactly 26 seconds both ways so timing was perfect.

  • thats some masterful stuff right there.

  • Sweet. And I feel tough when I smash something with a 16 pounder lol.

    beastly! ;p

  • would *that* not have been more effective with a lighter hammer?

  • would ht not have been better off with a lighter sledge hammer

  • Comment removed

  • 18 kgs is not easy, even with a 10kg sledge hammer repeating it non stop

    is tiring after a minute

  • That my friend is a big hammer. I could only find a 15lb one in the hardware store. Dam it back to the shop I go

  • 18Kg must work great.

  • Are you guys in the Army or what?

  • EXCELLENT! You Rock man! Btw, you Green Beret or Rangers?

You've got "Freakish" power! :) Wish I was strong like you..........

  • are you in US Army?

  • how much is the shipping on these things? lol great vid though

  • nice hammer, i want one to compliment my kettlebells. Is that working your rotational muscles?

  • Very much so.

  • Awesome man. Is that hammer from Tourqe Athletic?
