good job on the song, it took me a while to get into this tune, but I love it to death! Haha, the lyrics are a bit more experimental this is probably one of BR's more abstract songs
First off, thanks for the positive feedback! As far as the sound quality, I think it has to do with the fact that I record the audio direct from my POD X3 as opposed to using the camera mic to record the audio. I use the free program called Audacity and load in the original song file, and then record myself playing the song over it as my POD is hooked up to my computer via a simple mixer and my sound card (Audigy ZS 2). If you'd like a more in-depth explanation, let me know. Thanks!
I have heard comments about Gibsons being a little overpriced, thats why many people buy an high-end epiphone for half of Gibson´s price and install new pickups, I think I would do the same thing, I love the combination of white guitar and black active pickups, but I personally prefer SG´s.
I'm with you on that. I've wanted to get an SG for a loooonnggg time. It's unfortunate that their prices have gone up steadily for the past couple years..but then again most companies have done the same so it's hard to just pin down Gibson. At any rate, I'm looking forward to trying out the new SG Raw Power series slated to hit stores this summer. Or I'd even be happy with a Faded Special...who knows.
Yes, the RAW series looks interesting, and I´ve seen a Special Faded brown at a local guitar store (but the Gibsons are quite expensive here in Slovakia). And I was thinking, what if they would make a SG with mahagony body with a maple neck, so the neck wouldnt be heavier than body, what would it sound like ? I have a chinese, very crappy copy of an SG with bolted neck and I want to replace it with something better, like an epi.
Thank you x2! Actually, the guitar is made by a company called Edwards. It's technically owned/operated by ESP Guitars, but the Edwards line is, from what I understand, manufactured for the Japanese market. The original owner of the guitar bought it off of eBay and then installed EMG pickups in it. Technically it's pretty much identical to a Gibson, but don't have the spare change to apprehend an authentic Gibson LPC any time soon.
nice mustache.

I think I remember reading that the lyrics are about some sort of annual hiking trip Greg goes on or something.
