There is no proof of any personal god or divine being. It is just human ego and self importance that makes a successful person believe that god has blessed him or that he is special to god. give your self and your late father more credit Dilip.
he know there is no God....he just says that always because he doesnt want to take credit for everything he achieved...its just to reduce his burdens and feel down to earth...thats why he is always simple and down to earth ....did u get it, this i came to know from his sisters interview
simple and down to earth are meaningless idealistic words my friend. He is a devout muslim convert and it is sad to see that religion is being given credit or being used to be politically correct. when you learn some astronomy and how vast the universe is, and that the earth is only a speck of dust on a sunbeam, it is a far more humbling experience than any of this religious nonsense.
Great Musician but full of blind faith which is unrelated to his success. Even as Dilip he would have made music anyway. Maybe he should thank his late father Sekhar and Illayaraja too. Thats where he got his musical talent from.
