It would have been better if she was still beside him, but she looked away for a couple of seconds, and when she looked back, you hear a sudden, single, bell, and the kid is floating face down surrounded by empty beer bottles.
how rettarded can you get i know this kid is only like 1 or 2 but you think he would get up and if i was that kid i wouldnt be retarded enough to PULL the tap handle when youve seen your mother TURN it many times
choose to have the telephone in the bathroom with me so then I could keep an eye on him and not put him in a position of where he could quite likely drown and I'm not there in time to save him I would of addressed that selfish bitch of a women on the other end of the phone and said I haven't got time to speak to you now I'll call you back later
This was absolutely terrifying to watch and seeing the Mother leave the bathroom to answer the damn telephone was quite possibly the most stupidest decision she could think of doing and the caller well she had a lot of nerve refusing not to call back and chatting constantly to the reluctant mother who was desperate to get back to her little boy Michael who by then had lost his grip on the tap and had gone underwater if I was that mother not once would I leave my nephew I would more than likely
I remember a very similar American one from the same time period, except it ends tragically, with the mother at a morgue or someplace sobbing "I only left him for a minute!!" Has anyone ever seen that one?
no haven't, is it hard to find? i come from indiana and there is a similar ad where a mom and dad leave a little girl to awnswer 2 phones the ad cuts to black and people hear drowning
Hmm, haven't seen that one, but I did finally find the one this reminded me of -- "Alone" Child left alone in the Tub. Safety PSA" posted on YT by dancinggypsy123. For some reason there's no audio, but the video is the one I remember. It turns out it was actually a girl not a boy, and she didn't die, but is in the hospital ICU from a scalding burn.
Im sorry but a sensible idea would have been not to answer the phone in the first place! You're not supposed to take your attention off toddlers for even a minute!!
Luckily today we have cordless phones. A smart idea would be to put the cordless phone in the bathroom while you give the child a bath, then you can ensure your childs safety and take a possible important phone call.
True. When my daughter takes a bath i let the phone ring. Unless my cell is with me and im right there by her i dont move for a second. No way im putting her life i ndanger over some stupid call
Notice that the caller was very selfish in keeping the mother from ending the phone call. The caller did not respect the mother's wanting to end the conversation. That disrespect is something I have seen in many English people- here the subject is the mother- what about the caller?
Many people would call this woman stupid for leaving the tap on.
No, this woman is not stupid, she's an actor, And the reason this ad was made is because it's obvious that some stupid people do this when their young child is in the bath.
Get a mobile, bitch.

I remember seeing this advert on the telly as a kid. This advert is the reason I'm scared of swimming at my local pool.

u should always use the sink instead of the bath.
alexiscortez 10 months ago
@alexiscortez The kid could crawl out and slip and fall and get a concussion or brain damage or die.

@LittleJonasrocker oh then wat should u use?
alexiscortez 9 months ago
@alexiscortez THE BATH TUB. Or a plastic one especially made for infants and toddlers.

At least in pools you can get pool alarms. I think they should make them for bathtubs too.

These PSA's with babies always end up with the little one getting a taste of death.
And always, they're as disturbing as all hell. I'm not going to bed comfortable for a while.
