How does Lenny choose who tours with? I noticed that at a recently gig he had, Cindy Blackman and Jack Daley weren't there.....which stood out to me...Cause he played with them for years.

From what I know of Lenny, your right. He doesn't change members often. His is a true family -oriented band with lots of love for eachother.

I wish I knew the circumstances surrounding Cindy & Jacks absences, but unfortunately I don't. I'll tell ya something though, Lenny, Cindy and Jack are tight.

I'm sure what ever the reason, there's nothing to worry about. Life takes some funny turns sometimes :)

Sadly, this was the tour. But we were back to the U.S. every two weeks and Lenny was with his mother the whole time. He wanted to cancel the tour, but she wouldn't let him. But he was there with her when she passed. They both know they will be together again one day.

That is true Katja.  We came back every two weeks or so, so he could be with her... except for the Japan leg of the tour, we were there for a month. It was such a hard time, but God, what strength Lenny has in that soul of his.
