  • 5:23 lol he miss but u hear sound :D

  • Never-mind about the lens question. I have to say that was the best short film I have ever seen here on youtube. I was captivated. The cinematography, audio, and stunts. Just Amazing. I cant wait for more from you. You've got talent.

  • what camera, what lens??

  • Song is To Build a Home by The Cinematic Orchestra. The version in this video seems to be just a piano cover though

  • did you played the music on the piano?

  • GREAT CHOREOGRAPHY! :)

  • i have to say dude, i prefer the first one more, but this is still exceptional work, keep up the great work dude

  • that was some great choreography and stunt work. i loved how during the fight the eye colour changed, that was cool. i hope this story continues its really interesting

  • May you tell me the link of any downloadable data for the music behind this fight?

  • Beautiful intro, the music really makes it a whole lot better. Beautiful stunts, and choreo. Your films are really getting better. The sound quality made me curious, what mic are you using on this one? Sounds really good!

and I love the leather jacket, I've been looking for one of those!

  • @Gonamez All the audio came from the camera. No mic used. I'm going to try and start using one though.

  • @TKDJeffrey ah, well it sounds surprisingly good to be a built in camera mic!

  • I also must know what lens/lenses are you using. The shots look gorgeous.

  • @phatcorns I used the 18mm-55mm kit lens and the 50mm 1.8. The kit lens it a terrible lens though......

  • @TKDJeffrey Yeah, I'm currently using the kit lens, it's been a good introduction to dslr video, but I'm ready to upgrade. How has the 50mm worked out for you in actual usage? I've heard it is functionally an 80mm lens so is a little less wide than you might think. Has this been the case for you? Have you found that you had to use the kit lens just to get wide enough for some shots?

  • @TKDJeffrey I have to disagree with the kit lens being a terrible lens. The build quality is awful but the glass itself isn't that bad.

  • Great sound effects, were they the natural sounds or did you add them in post? And what sort of steadicam or mount did you use for your camera, the shots look great. If they were handheld naked that is pretty awesome!

  • @phatcorns Most of the sound effects during the fighting was done in post. There was also no steadicam used. Just plan old hand skills by Ian!

  • Pretty darn good for a three man team! Liked the stunts as well!

  • hey guys. i finally got a chance to sit down and watch this. very very well done! the cinematography was beautiful! and very smooth choreo :D i liked it a lot.

  • Very good Jeffery!

  • Finally, th blond guy wins!!

  • This is a great short film and a good fight! but not to be rude the beginning is kinda boring

  • @zohanmos I agree in that i think the chase could've been shortened, so we could get to the good stuff more quickly with Jeffrey's forward flip stunt into the water and the great fight. But once it gets going it's awesome.

  • top top top short film.. you guys did fantastic.

  • beautiful. That shot where your eyes turn red is badass and then when they turn green again with the violins playing in the background is epic.

  • Awesome concept, and great action. :) I think your acting was great, Jeffrey. You're really improving.

Though as always, I keep thinking of realism, haha. Though since this was more like a fantasy/scifi story, it wasn't as important, there were several bits where the armbars should have broken the bones. Catch and release doesn't really make sense here.

  • Great stunts from Jeff, he moves well and I think youtube could use a good basher test fight or a JC style chase scene feat this guy

  • Very nice!

  • awesome video! could u explain the eyes turning red then back to green part? did he become a better fighter at that point?

  • Beautiful work man. The cinematography was brilliant, and your choreography was near to impeccable as I've ever seen. Where is that music from? It was awesome.

  • Jeff + Assoc.: That. Was. Awesome.!!!!!!! Sweet story! This was really fun to watch! (reminded me of school) Can't wait for your next project!

  • Wow this is amazing! The stunt work and choreography is jst amazing! I am truly a fan of your work

  • This video needs way more views than it has right now. The director of this short film has a great mind and needs to be noticed by others. It has great actors, great special effects, great action scenes all it needs is a great chance for the world to see.

  • Good story, great choreo, some of the acting could use a little work.

  • @kageyami11 Yeah, I'm working on it. I'm not the best actor, but i'm trying to get better.

  • @TKDJeffrey It takes time. All actors started somewhere. You'll be a great one soon enough! I'm still at the bottom. :/ But overall, great work. Keep it up!

  • @TKDJeffrey The good news is action stars don't need to be great actors just good fighters. lol

  • I really like the camera angles and the stunts you people pull off ! (:

  • You're very talented Jeffrey...excellent film. Your eyes in this film were very trippy!!! :)

Your channel remains one of my favorites on Youtube! :)

  • oh yeah! first view! Liked! :D
