I like the part where the bad guys are stuck in the tree and they say "at least it couldn't get any worse" and then the water starts to rise. Shouldn't the people on the dock drown to? since the bad guys are way above them up in the tree...

Wow this movie sucked!!! Krista's charector was way off. And I still dont know if Pipe's liked that human girl. All he did was run away after saying bye. :/ Anywho all the charectors voices were diffrent and well the movie just was bad. But there was one part I liked it was when the little red bug grew the tree. So I'm just going to stick to the first movie. :)

Here's my summary of the movie:

Two large dogs knock a small girl to the ground and her father laughs. That's not nice.

Batty crashes into a tree at the end and EVERYONE laughs! Why is everyone so mean to Batty? He has been through more than they'll ever go through and all they do is laugh at him and discriminate him. As he says "no one cares about me."

i know everyone else hated this movie as well, due to the voices not being the same, crappy animated quality, horrible story line and plot. fern gully was one of my favorites growing up, never saw the second and i am sad that i did. there were parts where i had to skip forward cause i didn't want to listen to the horrible singing parts.

Alright, the characters look and sound different......SO WHAT?! It's not like their odd appearances killed the sequel. That is the dumbest reason to hate a movie just because its the sequel. I just loved the magic of the transforming ropes at the end and how the branches freed the babies and how the dogs got adopted to a better owner. Ya'll haters could hate on my opinion all u want, but this movie is AWESOME!!!

I miss Batty's and Pips' original voice from the first movie. I mean Batty's still kinda okay, but Pips' voice, that totally went from mature to adolescent.

It's a cartoon. Use your imagination people. This is why kids are so awesome. As we get older, it seems that we no longer use our imagination. We become critical and judgmental whenever something doesn't make "logical" sense. Since when does a cartoon have to be LOGICAL. I thought it was a great movie. Job Well Done!

The entire interpretation of the characters has been way simplified, the plot is shallow, and the movie itself is, dare I say, wacky. But watching it has made me appreciate the original even more than before.

wow. this movie is actually pretty good! ^.^

it's very cheerful and cute, gave me a lot of laughs. i also like the original, but to me, the sequel is just as good. The songs are very catchy too. not as catchy as the ones in the first movie. i have most of the Batty Rap lyrics memorized, and i sometimes rap it to myself sometimes.

the music number in part 5, where the animals were about to lose hope of being freed, and Batty encourages them, was the best song in the movie. ^.^ and the best part of the song is when Batty was singing with the other baby animals. for a bat, he sang pretty darn good. it's not Robbin Williams, but it's cool anyways. ;)

With care, with no bias-ness over the comments that I've read, I've come to this conflusion:

The first movie is much better than this one in animation, class, and things like that. The plot here is weak, the voices didn't flow very well, neither did the acting. Batty is OOC (and he doesn't have hands) and there's no funny Batty parts. And Zak is lacking, and I like him!

However, in its on way, I suppose this movie itself is okay.
