What does it do for (or to) Sharon's voice?

Does it take them to another level?

I'll let you answer those - but as regards Sharon's voice - I'd say she's struggling from what I can hear .(Don't end up with nodules will you Sharon?).

I genuinely don't care how commercialised they become; I will always remain thoroughly moved by their music. I believe all their albums have their own charms, this one no less than the others. In my opinion it's amazing to have been fan of a band long enough to see them evolve in this fashion and I will remain a fan to see them evolve some more.

Where's the video? Yeah, this is a bit of a commercial tune, but her voice is still gorgeous, and not every song has to be an epic. Writing epic tunes isn't easy, writing commercial tunes isn't all that easy either.

WT ARE THE BEST!!! The last album is incredible. It's good exploring other styles. If they had had continued the THOE sound (an album that i LOVE!), it would be so repetitive. So now we have pop-rock influences but we also find their heavier guitars ever. It's natural an evolution, and the new songs are brilliant! I saw them live few months ago...pffff no words! New elements in their music, but still symphonic metal and her amazing voice, singing high notes with the same beauty but also lower :)

it's sad seeing they became so commercial. sharon was awesome in high tone and this low-pitched singing style is just not even good sang by her. The first phrases are horrible! Feels like she is changing her voice, hated that., Yeah yeah sorry people if I am offending your idol, but they used to have attitude and quality, now they are just another band like many others. This song has nothing unique on it. I used to be their fan but now I think there's nothing worth to be admired.

Si tu écoute le reste tu verras qu'ils n'ont pas énormément changé, c'est juste qu'ils ont osé faire des chansons plus rock. Et Sharon a choisis d'utilisé sa voix rock au lieu de sa voix aiguë. @marshmallowyeeah I won't say I don't agree to some degree. They have gone main stream in ways that aren't the best. But, they are an epic band, with a lot of followers. That adds pressure. As for Sharon's voice, two things. First of all, she is older than when WT started. Her voice is naturally lower now. Second, there may be something we don't know that has caused her to go lower than before, perhaps her voice can't take the constant touring with high vocals. Just saying.
