i'm not much of a pc gamer, but i do have a low-end philips 1000 watt surround sound system in my room. it's awesome, especially with the 250 watt subwoofer.
I'm still waiting to get a PS3 on the fence still I was about to dive in and get one until I heard about the install times. I have a PC, Wii and 360. I don't see any reason to buy the PS3 besides MGS4 and Blu-Ray so I'll just wait until the summer to get one when they have rumble in the controllers...
(PRART 2) I actually like excite truck more, and would choose it over motocross any day. Renissaunce is pretty cool, but i dont know. i think the ps3 can make it to the top, but im not sure if it actually WILL...
hey, $400 for a console with a built-in wi-fi adapter (VS paying $100 for it on the xbox 360), a blu-ray player, dvd-upconverter, and 40GB of storage really isn't bad. but because people aren't looking for all of it in the same console, that can be a bad thing.
40GB is used for trailer/demo downloads in HD, ps1 game downloads, and your own videos, pictures, and music. it's not /just/ for the game's install on the HDD (which btw is ridiculous to wait 15 minutes for).
and i do agree, it doesn't have huge AAA titles that make you want to go out and buy the console. most of the AAA titles are on the xbox 360, and they're more fluid on the console as well.
lolz, that was pretty good. after the "loading next gen..." you should have put "disk read error"! i love my wii, and i am looking foward to getting a 360, but i dont see anything on the ps3 worth the money. i dont want a blu ray, i just want good games. the most interesting one to me now is warhawk, which is basically halo 3 multiplayer. DONT SAW "OMG MOTO CROZZ FTW, NOBz", because i really am not into that game. to few modes, and the thrills are short lived.
the ps3 doesn't have disk read errors anymore. if you don't want blu-ray, then the ps3 probably isn't for you. however, you'll be missing out on games like ratchet and clank, uncharted: drakes fortune, and resistance (and resistance 2). the xbox 360 is superior games-wise though, as all the good ps3 multiplatform games have their better versions on the xbox 360.
