Well, I guess my point is that we should be brepared as this all unfolds, but there's no reason to panic or get all hyped. Sometimes this stuff gets easy to obsess over and it seems more real than what is really happening at the time.
I just hope people don't cause more trouble for themselves than needed because of fear or anger.

The thing is, our Constitution gives us (the citizens) the right to overthrow the government if what it is doing is unconstitutional.

The only time I see that being a reality is if it were a soldier being told to do something bad to his family, but the government is too smart for that to happen, they will station soldiers away from their families, get them all mixed up, so that they can better control their emotions, then everything will work in the interest of the government. With so many Americans excercising their rights to bear arms, any occupying force be it foreign or domestic, would be hard pressed to arrest the general population. Anyone can pick up a shotgun from a local Wal-Mart and Assault Rifles are now legal not to mention the yet undisclosed weapon caches held by the Michigan Militia. This will not be the case. They have been whittling away at our rights for decades. Most think it is being done for you're security, wrong! You are they only one who can do that, with force of arms if necessary. Thomas Jefferson said, "Those who beat their guns into plows, will plow for those who do not". Right he was and is still. The more dependent you become on others for you're freedom, the less freedom you have. Check for yourself, look at the intrusive laws passed in the last two decades.

MARTIAL LAW UPDATE! Nobody came for my guns. Nobody shut off my internet connection. My TV still shows mindless TV like Orca Winfrey and the sluts on "The View". Since 1776 my family has served and fought for this country. My family currently has 7 immediate family members in the military and all but one have served in combat and the last one is going to Afghanistan in 2 months.
I fight it highly insulting and ignorant to say that our troops would fight against their own people. I know the troops, I know who and what they are, they serve America not government and would refuse to fight us especially the National Guard (1/2 of our troops).

Well, it's Oct. 1. No changes here in Charlotte, NC except that our gas lines are getting much shorter now. All getting back to normal from the gas shortage. Pretty normal everyday America here. Oh, I did see Marshall Dillon on my TV, but nowhere else.
