It's official! Vincent is returning to "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" for eight more episodes in the tenth and final season next year. Kate Erbe is also coming back, so the dynamic duo of Goren and Eames will be solving more Major Cases before riding off into the sunset of TV reruns in 2011. Cheers!
@srvsgal Vincent is filming a movie short in New Jersey this week called "Crackers". He plays a chef who has to deal with a tyrannical mother-in-law after her husband chokes to death on a ossobucco bone. Naturally, it's a comedy! LOL
@OBparamour Cool. I thought so. I've seen photos of Vincent and Toni online but I had never met either of them in person until two weeks ago. Toni seemed to really enjoy looking at the gifts as Vincent and I were perusing them, especially Alberto's coloring books. That made me so proud that I could present my brother's art to VIncent and he seemed to really appreciate it. That was nice.
@lovevdo69xxx Thanks. VIncent was very gracious, even though he was tired from his onstage performance as George Gerkie and he was "a little sweaty" as he put it. Of course, i didn't mind that, as I was perspiring, too. The New York heat and my nervousness that night combined made it hard to stay cool, but it was still a wonderful evening!
@lovevdo69xxx You can hear Vincent say "That was very sweet of you" to me after I gave him his b-day gifts, and he was fascinated by the coloring books made by my brother Alberto, who has autism. Vincent used to draw as a child, too, and I told him I hoped his children would enjoy the books. Vincent is making a film called "Johnny and Me" about a man with Asperger's syndrome who's fascinated with Johnny Cash. He wrote the script and will be producing and directing the film this fall.
@BillieJean0902 Yes, I read your story on Vinnie Vidi Vici. Fantastic. Did he say he was still doing that film? I've heard it's been put on the back burner.
@lovevdo69xxx Vincent told me he was doing the film, but he didn't say when, although I read that he would begin filming in the fall after the financing deal was done. Of course, he has several irons in the fire now, so "Johnny and Me" will still be made. I hope Vincent changes his mind about not playing the lead. I think he'd be awesome in this film!
@BillieJean0902 Wow, this must have been a very special experience! And the story you've told about your brother Alberto is very special too. Actually, my little brother also has autisum and because of that, I'd love to see the movie that Vincent is making. I think it's very inspiring and I just wish I'd get to meet him some day... It's just a very small chance; I live in Holland....

I don't know if VIncent plans to visit Holland anytime soon, since he's busy making several films in the US and is also promoting his directorial debut, "Don't Go In The Woods". If I hear anything new, I'll let you know.
